“Amazing product and so tastey .. only issue is price. I currently live if these and 2 wraps at £3.5 is expensive. Surly if more people buy it and orders are big hopefully the price can come down. But still an amazing products”

“The most dangerous product I have ever bought. Smells toxic when you open the packet. Bit that’s far from the worst part. Tried lightly toasting this as just wanted a small bit and as it’s lockdown, and no gf bread Etc until next grocery delivery. The dough set on fire in the toaster. Burned so hot and quickly it was unreal. I was lucky that my living room is right next to the kitchen, with only an archway, so that I was able to get to the fire quickly as it had already started to scorch the cupboards. See pics. Would I recommend this. Absolutely not. I’d rather have the calories and the carbs than lose my home. Hell I’m coeliac, and after this scarey experience, I’d even rather have gluten.”

I can assure you that we take product safety incredibly seriously and I'm very sorry to hear that you've had this upsetting experience when using a Lo-Dough product. We would like to make it clear that we do make this safety information visible on the packet, as you have seen. When we first released Lo-Dough over three years ago we discovered that the product wasn't suitable for toasting like conventional bread and immediately placed the warning on the pack to address this issue as a responsible company with customer safety at the heart of our operation. This information was also published on our website at the same time. Since then we've sold to over 150,000 customers and had no reports of any further issues until today. We believe we have been responsible for communicating this information adequately and the absence of further issues has reinforced this but nonetheless, we are sincerely sorry for the experience you've had.
