“I cancelled an order within 24 hours of my online submission. Unfortunately, the merchant refused to issue a rightful full refund to my credit card account. Additionally, Lurdes Bergada claimed that have to pay merchant fees to credit card companies for cancelled transactions, and thus, deducted this 'business operation' expense from my refund.
I informed Lurdes Bergada that fees to operate their business are the merchant's onus and not the customer's. Further, I initiated a dispute claim with my credit card company regarding the seller's non-compliance with merchant credit card rules and regulations and refusal to issue a lawful 'full' refund to my account.
Following 2 months of ongoing dispute and reaching the arbitration phase of my claim, the merchant agreed with the allegations articulated in my claim. The case was brought to a legal and satisfactory closure in my favor.
Unfortunately, Lurdes Bergada's lack of merchant honesty, integrity, and quality customer service puts their company at significant risk of damaging their reputation in the industry, penalties from credit card companies, difficulty maintaining established customers and/or growing their consumer base, and loss of revenue too. CONSUMERS BEWARE!!”
“I bought a skirt and waistcoat on-line at a total cost of around 300 euros. This was very over priced because the quality was not good enough. The clothes were crudely made and the fabric is not good quality. For example the skirt is cotton and wool. These fabrics attract fluff and particles unless they go through a process that stops this. But every process a fabric goes through to make it a better quality reduces the profit to the company. So companies cut out as many processes as they can to make more money. But when I pay 165 euros for a skirt I do not expect get covered in fluff. Not good. And the company will only take my clothes back if they are faulty. Being poorly made, getting covered in fluff and not worth the price is not what they would consider a fault. So I will never buy from them again”
“The sales person was more interested in reading his magazine, I had couple of clothing in my hand, he offered no help to take it to the dressing room, he did not even take his head up to see what I was doing at the store! I purchased an itemwd as I liked it but if I was the owner I will do a change in personnel!”
