“Really poor returns policy. Wouldn’t accept exchange item that was a gift, still had the label on and was still on sale in the shop. Item clearly purchased at m and s and they said they needed proof of purchase. I wasn’t able to provide this with it being a gift. They said the item wouldn’t scan however that was a problem with the till and label not interfacing therefore seemed like more of a problem with their process and technology. Sales assistant really rude and rolled her eyes at me. Not very easy when you have made it to the shop with a buggy and a 10 week old baby. Was no problem at all in Next. Would not recommend people buy baby gifts in m and s!”
