“These yarns are lovely to crochet with and would be great for hand-knitting too! I usually tend to machine-knit , rather than hand-knit nowadays, but am thinking I might start hand-knitting again as well, using this yarn. The yarn is nice to use and, depending on the stitches, hook/needle size and whether I use one strand or two, some quite varied work can evolve. I like to experiment with motifs and patterns and there are so many lovely colours too, and can result in some quite beautiful work!”

“Ordering from Marriner Atari’s was so easy. Such beautiful colours to choose from at such great prices. I ordered baby wool which is just perfect for the cardigan I am making. Beautiful buttons to match as well. I will certainly be back. I loved the colour sampler that arrived. My 4 year old an I sat picking out favourite colours as she learned to write the names of each. So educational too! Ha ha! Makes me feel less guilty spending so much money on wool. Thank you!”

“I have used Marriner yarns for a long time now and I have always been very pleased with all the wool very nice quality and a very competitive price. During lockdown my sister started knitting baby clothes so my latest order from Marriners was part of her 70th Birthday present she was really pleased with the wool. So now my great niece who does a lot of crocheting and knitting has started ordering from Marriners along with my Nephews girlfriend as the price and quality are the best.”

“Got 4ply sock wool never knit socks before but the pattern was so easy to follow .i now have a pair of very soft socks cosy and warm and I am now on my second pair I have even got my friend to place an order . Don’t think it will be long untill I place my next order”

“I bought a ball of the merino wool sock yarn and I’ve just completed one sock. It is lovely to knit with and very soft. I don’t know how it will wash and wear but if it washes well I will be ordering more. It’s a very good price for merino wool.”
