As always your wool is amazing however I was dissapointed with the service. My order was not delivered due to no postage paid via royal mail and you have not replied to me with regards to refunding the money

Disappointed. The 100g balls are so loosely wound that the yarn unravels all the time and it is very difficu8t to keep the yarn tidy while knitting. I knit socks all the time and none of the other brands are so badly wound. I would appreciate your comments on this, please.

Wouldn't buy the wool again as 3balls have knots all the way through and couldn't use them ,help line not helpful

After reading the good reviews I bought the 1000g aran cone in cream, but it's not as soft as I hoped it would be,it's a little rough and doesn't glide so well on the hook won't be buying again

I am very sad to say this I bought your baby blanket pattern and wool I have now finished it but am 26 rows short on yellow and white I contacted your customer services and was basically told I was lying as you have had it tested I would like acknowledgment and the wool I need to finish this please I have never had any issues with you wool until now

Hi Betty Glad we sorted out the problem with your yarn. I can assure you our customer service team did not at any point think you were lying about this. It is just that the product had been made up by one of our professional knitters, who told us how much yarn would be needed to complete the blanket. Glad this has all been resolved. On more than one occasion I have placed two orders within minutes of each other, and had to pay postage costs twice, even though together would have easily qualified for free postage. This is also double packaging. Not very helpful.

Good morning Thank you for your feedback. As the orders were placed separately, there would be a delivery charge for each order under £25.00. If you had contacted our customer service team both orders could have been combined and therefore you would have only been charged 1 delivery charge. Returned the yarn as soon as I’d opened it as I could see it would ‘rub’ badly’ using it for a baby shawl because of the hours it would spend on the needle and on my lap. Still awaiting a refund.

Dear Customer, We are sorry to hear that you didn't have a great experience with our 4ply Super Soft Baby yarn. Usually, our customers love this yarn, so it was concerning that you felt this yarn would rub badly. We will pass feedback over to our supplier regarding the yarn you returned to us. We did receive your parcel recently, and my colleague processed the refund on the order on Saturday so it may just be taking a little bit longer for the banks to process the refund due to the Bank Holiday this week. Bought over 40 super soft baby yarn to knit baby items. not as describe, not soft and feels like an every day wool you buy in supermarkets. Disappointed. Too many to return so now need to knit alternatives.

Very disappointed, in the 1st ball i used 3 knots in it , next 2 fine,now on the next and already 1 knot in it. First time ever this has happen to me.

Had a difftent colour pink so couldnt finish my grandaughters xmas ptesent i was knitting her first was a loverly bright pink then ordered 5 more balls and they was a dull pink very disapointed

I have only looked at 1of six balls ordered and was very upset, hence I have consigned them all to the bottom of my knitting basket. The wool had been cut in several places, meaning either I tie a lot of knots, or lose a lot of wool. Not at all happy.

I bought 20 balls of the super chunky get cosy yarn, to make my grandson a blanket, i worked out the rows exactly so i could get the same amount of rows out of one ball without joining mid row, every single ball had 2 to 7 knots in it, and they were all different lengths so i had to join them anyway, lovely soft yarn but terrible quality, very disappointing

As annoying as knots can be, these are completely unavoidable due to the manufacturing process so it is standard to allow for a couple of knots within a 100g ball. However, if you do have a particularly 'knotty' ball in the future, please do get in touch straight away to let us know so that we can look into this. Very disappointed with Supersoft baby double knitting wool - not soft enough for using on baby items. Had to send all back at a cost to me of £8,89, because I could not use the wool. Not fit for purpose. Others reviews online about Marriners Supersoft baby DK say the same.
