“I wouldn't order from anywhere else. Love your selection of wools and yarns. Colour choice quality, value and service second to none. I was so excited at the New Year when I went 'home' to visit family and when shopping in Cwmbran Town Centre discovered a Shaws Direct. I had an excited half hour gazing at the luscious selection of colours and textures on the shelves.”

“I needed to make some socks, which I've never attempted before. I found Cosy Toes on Marriner website, and loved the fox colour. I'm not too great with smaller crochet hooks, but I endured and I can honestly say this yarn was perfect, no snagging, no joins and was such a joy to complete a pair of socks and enough left over to make a bag and tie for them to go in. I was dubious when it said 1 100g ball for 1 pair of socks, but I could of gone longer on my socks but I love my bag as it finishes them off nicely. Recommend easy to crochet, super soft ☆☆☆☆☆”

“Knitted a cream baby blanket in the Get Cosy super chunky blanket yarn. It’s so soft, knits up quickly and washed up beautifully. I’m now on my second blanket using the variegated Fruit Salad colourway, which is absolutely gorgeous - love this yarn! I’ve also made a cardigan in the Mermaid super chunky in Starfish, really nice to knit with, love the colour and knits up really quickly. Both yarns are very inexpensive but not at the cost of the quality, which is excellent!”
