“Very quick with delivery even though it was Christmas time, easy to place order, wish you could look into doing vouchers for Christmas or birthdays etc so friends family etc can by them for us people who knit. Crochet etc, I did enquire before Christmas. thank you”

“My small group knits squares and makes blankets that to to refugee camps and the local YMCA hostel for homeless and vulnerable young people. We get yarn donated, but buy some as well. It needs to be inexpensive, washable, colourful and nice to use, and Marriner DK does that. We love the plain brights and the colour changing ones that make a pattern without the faff of joining in lots of donated bits and pieces. The YMCA encourages their clients to take their blanket with them when they move on to their new home, as something of their own. So your yarns go all over the world to keep refugees warm and with rehoused and helped young people. Each blanket has a little label on that says “Knitted with love.” The picture is of one on a bed in the hostel.”

“Fantastic service and fantastic yarn. I was sceptical at first thinking that the "£1" yarn would be just like the rubbish I have been buying from the likes of Home Bargains & B & M their yarns are imported from abroad and contain lots of knots. Not with Marriner I knitted a whole 100g to see if I could find one and no there wasn't one. It knits beautifully and I would recommend Marriner 100% to anyone who is an avid knitter as me. II have one knitting shop in my area but it is so small that it only allows 1 customer at a time because of the pandemic. I cant be doing with all that. So use Marriner and get the yarn within 2 days and 100% quality product.”
