“I bought the Get Cosy blanket yarn - Coral reef to crochet a snuggle blanket for my sofa. It is beautifully soft and colourful and very easy on the fingers. Very good price too. Excellent postal service too. I will continue to use Marriner wool.”

“I recently bought soft baby yarn and 2 of them had yarn cut off and knotted in 2 places. When contacted , I was told that it is normal to have such knots. I find it hard to believe because another supplier ( I donot want to name them) from who I bought aran yarn immediately sent a replacement”

Good morning Sorry to hear you were unhappy with your yarn. Knots in yarn are, unfortunately, an unavoidable part of the manufacturing process across this industry. It happens when one length of yarn or wool is joined to another; either when the end of the yarn length is reached or when there are breaks in the yarn being spun. “Love knitting with your wools, they are good quality, lovely colours and garments wash well. I love the mermaid super chunky the colours look really good when knitted up. My grand children are delighted with their sweaters they say they are so warm but really light to wear.”

“After reading the good reviews I bought the 1000g aran cone in cream, but it's not as soft as I hoped it would be,it's a little rough and doesn't glide so well on the hook won't be buying again”

“I have ordered Marriners Yarns now for a few years and have always been very pleased with it. The DK yarn is excellent for every day to day jumpers/cardigans, and the Hermitage is so soft and fluffy with a warn feel, I cant wait to get started on it. “Good quality for the price which is very important at the moment. The only problem was that some of the balls of yarn had quite a few knots which was a shame as I ended up ripping back and using those balls for sleeves so as not to have a knot mid row.”

“My very first order of DK. from “Marriner Yarns” arrived today I was anxiously excited to open it. The DK. Yarn is so soft and has such a beautiful drape when it’s been crocheted 🧶 I am new to crochet and have been practicing with some famous brand DK. Honestly in comparison they feel like pan scrubs. I am so happy to be able to buy wool so reasonably priced that i am able to make sweaters I can actually wear. Great service. I won’t be buying yarn from anywhere else from now on.”
