Extremely bad experience with Nissan dealership in Kidlington. Falsely advertising and lying about details for the vehicle. Selling extended warranty but refuse to fix any issues under warranty. MD of the dealership (David Dawson) was sent an email with full details on the issues and he hasn't even bothered responding to it. Have requested a DSAR from them and haven't even bothered acting on this. Avoid this company at all cost, they are pathetic.

I paid in full for a RangeRover, was told it had passed all its checks, it hadn't, I was told delivery would be Tuesday, then Wednesday, then maybe Friday. Then I discovers the mileage was 27% higher than advertised. I am still waiting for my money back so am complaining to trading standards.

Absolutely awful - not even worth 1 star and incompetent to the extreme. I got a car from these guys on PCP 3 years ago from the Wimbledon City branch. The person who served me (Michael Mosengo) was incompetent to the extreme. He took my email address down incorrectly, so when he emailed me confirming the order he thought I wanted to place and I did not reply, he placed the order anyway without checking and ordered the wrong colour! (grey instead of black). I was stuck and had to take the car when it came as I had already given back the old car. The manager was useless and unhelpful – would not admit it was their mistake and said they could get a black one in but it would take months and they would not honour the money off they were giving around the time of Covid if I went with a black. As a "good will" gesture they offered me a paltry £100 of extras... which I ordered, and which never came!! Honestly - do NOT go to these guys. Given my experience with them, I will not only never go to them again, I will never buy an Audi again! And will feedback to Audi directly. Finally got rid of the car this week and opted for BMW instead.

Worst paint job I have ever seen, superglued badge back on when they damaged it while cleaning, mirror cover fell off when driving the car home. Car key didn’t work, parking sensors error, wheel not balanced, cigarette lighter not working, service not updated. Customer service was the worst, didn’t care, 3 weeks without the car in total, little communication, having to travel back and forth to the garage taking unpaid time off work. Disappointing from a VW approved dealer. Wish I had read the other reviews of similar stories before, Avoid!

I bought a car. Found to have several faults, 2 of which would have led to critical engine failure (they, wouldn't even it, they towed it) over 9 months of back and fourth. Poor communication, bounced me around, no care for my safety. The automatic car stalled mid driving. I could have died because I went to this company. I left with on car, no return of my trade-in car and a terrible experience. From the sales all the way to the general manager and directors, I suggest you look elsewhere.

A review relating to Marshalls Audi in Oxford A warning to anyone thinking of doing business with this dealership, beware. When your buying, you're the most important person in the world, but when that process stops and you take the vehicle away from the dealership, you are a positive pariah if anything goes wrong and you need help. Having bought my car from Marshalls in Oxford on a Tuesday, the electrical systems of the vehicle had experienced a catastrophic failure by the following Thursday, sending warnings to the dashboard and resetting the cars electrics at random intervals. The warnings were serious, such as steering failure, SOS Systems activated and asking me to take control of the car! Scary stuff. I rang Marshalls Audi in Oxford while driving the car (I was by now on ear pods as the telephony connection was doing its own thing) I didn’t know my registration as the car was new and even though I had visited the dealership 3 times in the run up to buying the car and parted with a significant sum of money, I was only recognisable by the registration of the car and without it, they couldn’t help me. When I got home, the dealership was closed and so I sent an e-mail to the associate who sold me the car. At this point, I hadn’t realised that she was on holiday as there was no out of office returned to my e-mail. As the car was drivable, although very annoying with instrument failure and warning sirens every few moments, I waited for a call or e-mail back, but after 2 days of hearing nothing, I started to call again. By now, as you could imagine, I was very annoyed as I drive a lot for work and having a consistent connection to the car is very important to me. I ran Marshalls Audi again, left messages on automated VAR systems as there was no one covering any position in the business and waited for calls, I revived none. I then tried the national service number, but this is an automated service that connects to a central call centre and they could only offer me an appointment to have the problem looked at in over a month’s time. In desperation, I ran an alternative Audi dealership to see if they could help me and at least they tried and never asked for my registration. But unfortunately, their workshop was also booked two weeks into the future. They did say they would try and ask Audi Oxford to call me and at least were apologetic, more than I’d had from Marshals Audi. With perseverance and being told I couldn’t speak to the General Manager of the site as he wouldn’t take my call, a service manager finally called me back, but then. Put the phone down on me, calling back after a little while stating his battery had failed (Audi Marshalls Oxford disconnect calls a lot, so I am dubious) I relayed my story to him, he was very sorry, my salesperson came back from holiday, she was very sorry and the car was finally collected and taken to their workshop. It is due back today, but no one has commutated yo me or confirmed it would be, I’ve heard nothing for 5 days, so this morning I decided to call the dealership and ask what was happening. My sales Executive was not available, the Service Manager was not available, The General Manager was not available and so when I asked for the service department, I could proceed no further without the registration of my car that I have owned for 2 weeks but was last seen a week ago being driven off for repair. I’m exhausted writing this review as working in the service industry where customers are then most precious commodity we have, this experience is simply alien to me and I wouldn’t wish it on anyone.

Several months ago I took my VW Up for service at Kidlington. I was told by the person who dealt with me that this was the last service under my Fixed Price plan. However payments continued to be taken from my account. I made a special journey to the dealership to see if they could help. I asked to go to service reception but the main receptionist said this was not possible and she would speak to them. The outcome was that she said it was not a matter for the dealership and she gave me the telephone number of VW Finance. This has not helped as they don’t answer the phone. I tried phoning the dealership today but they do not answer. As a customer of about 40 year’s standing I clearly no longer matter.

My first time buying a car and i was fooled and disappointed by Marshall). I asked the sales guy if there is any damage, they said ‘No we are dealership we have checked everything. The car is perfect with no record’. It’s just a three years car with 13k mileage so i assume there is not many to check. Then after i paid the deposit i found there is some advisory in MOT. After i paid and collected the car, the guy never responded to my enquiry and when i called him up, he said he would check and got back to me. But they NEVER!!! This happened in three calls within two weeks.

DO NOT buy a car from this dealership! I bought fairly new Golf (2018) in August 2022 from their Croydon dealership online only to be told on the day I took ownership of the car that the second key didn't work (they hadn't checked) so I would have to wait 2-6 weeks for a new key from Germany - I'm still waiting some 3 months later. Other problems include selling me the car with a perished tyre that became too dangerous to drive on and I had to replace - even though it was an advisory on their mot and I asked them to replace it as a condition of sale - they refused saying it was safe. NOT for long it wasn't! It developed a 4 inch tear in the tyre wall! There were some other more trivial issues that they initially said they were going to sort out only to then just ignore me. Basically as soon as they had my money they lost all interest. In 30+ years of motoring I've never had such appalling after care from any dealer - small or large. Never again. I've only given one star because you can't not give any stars!.

Found a car through VW approved used programme in Milton Kenyes. Went to view to car, there were few works needed to get it up to standard i.e. partial shelf missing, full valet etc. They promised the car would be ready in a week so I went to pick up the car after a week and it was exactly in the same condition. Since I travelled 200 miles and already paid the deposit I didn't wanted to return empty handed and loose the deposit. I bought the car anyway and after about 2 weeks the fuel started to leak. I've managed to sort out the issue with different garage (VW Vertu), which was seal deformation on the fuel sender unit. It's been about 9 weeks now since I got the car and I've still not received my V5C. I've been chasing Milton Kenyes Marshall almost everyday and its almost impossible to get hold of anyone. I don't have any issue with the VW brand itself but the way the business is ran with Marshall Group is shocking.

Totally unhelpful. This is pretty much a scam. I just cancelled my subscription. They use dent wizard or some such and you are the lowest priority. Probably because they pay a lower price to them than a regular customer. Avoid.

I found a car on Autotrader I liked and used the dialog box on Autotrader to contact Marshalls the dealer. Callum rang me and gave me the hard sell saying the car was his former company vehicle and was in as new condition. I arranged with Callum to drive the 80 miles from Cheshire to Worcester to purchase the car. Before setting off to Worcester the following day, I rang the dealer to make sure the car was still available , Callum said that they would reserve the car so that my journey wasn't a waste. When I got to the dealership Callum wasn't available so I dealt with the branch manager and we agreed a price for my trade in vehicle and the deal was done. Then after over two hours of hard sell and having agreed a deal came his bombshell, the cars advertised price wasn't the cars actual price and the car was in fact over £4000 dearer. Obviously I'm very unhappy with how deceitful this dealership has acted, stringing me along, wasting my time and fuel and worst of all not being honourable. Toyota cars are great, Marshalls are not. If you do want a Toyota then take my advise and buy one form a more honourable dealer

For the past week my daughter has emailed and phoned Sam Bilbie at Marshalls lincoln and not once he has replied to her, we were given a car which didn't meet the spec we had ordered and this has been going on for almost a year. Instead we have been pushed into a corner and given two options . Either keep the car or return the car back to Marshalls Lincoln. Both options are not viable to us. As the first is no good we keep the car which we are unhappy with and the latter if we decide to return the car we will get a refund minus the cost for using it, so we are getting penalised for their mistake. Then John Clark of Marshalls got involved and John had give my daughter assurances that the on going problem we have had with Marshalls Lincoln will be resolved to our satisfaction. We never heard from him either. Everyone has buried their heads in the sand hoping we would get fed up and give up. One of Marshalls Land Rover vision is customer service and they have failed miserably on that part. It probably applies to the rich and famous who can afford to waste money, unlike us working class families who work hard to buy a car of their dreams only for it to be turned into a nightmare. We are at our wits end and i wish inhad never bought a car from Land Rover. Not this is gonna make a difference but i thought everyone should know my experience.

I was sold a car by James Prentice in August 2021 and i can safely say, never again will i step foot in a Marshall dealership again let alone the one in Leicester. All is well and good when you are in the process of buying the car, the sales team and management team, cant do enough to help you, sadly, as soon as you drive away that's about as far as the customer service goes and as for after sales, you might as well just forget about that, as there has been NO after sales. I bought my Audi A3 from them in August and i travelled 2 hours for this car as i was very specific in what i wanted and i had been looking the best part of 6 months for the right car. Before even going to look at the car ( i intended to buy and drive away the same day) i asked multiple questions confirming everything i thought i knew. When the day came to look at(in person), collect and pay for the car, i was 20 minutes from the garage when i had a phone call advising the car may not be ready to drive away as the windscreen has a crack in, obviously i pushed that this would be sorted today and i would delay myself, (i had already took a day off work and my partner too, so he could drive me) and we were so close by. Thankfully, this was rectified and we didnt have too long to wait when we got there. We then looked around the car, test drove etc. Upon checking the car, i could visibly see numerous stone chips, rust marks, dents, scratches etc, i raised this was James as this was not the standard in which i expect to pick a car up in and i would have assumed the little marks would have been sorted prior, the big mark that was a scratch down to the primer that will inevitably rust over time was my main concern as this is a body work job. At the time, the bodywork wasn't the only issue, the car wasn't clean and hadn't been valeted inside but i let this slide as i was more concerned about the dents. I raised this with James and he spoke with someone and advised they would organise a company to come out and buff the whole car and sort the dent and paintwork out on the car where it was needed. The company was then allocated by James and was sent a month later, they tried to resolve the issue but advised this is not something they would repair and needed a proper body shop to do the work. Since September 2021, i have chased and advised James about the car issue, i have been passed from pillar to post and in the end i was advised to outsource someone to do the work. 7 months later, i have had a warranty issue with the car, where James himself advised me on something that was not even Marshall policy and i had to correct him, i still have dents, chips, scratches all over my car that i have been told i need to sort and organise myself but they only seem willing to accept a certain type of invoice, that sadly, i cannot obtain as i live 30 miles from a town centre, i have asked if he can help source someone but it seems to me he wants an easy life and has no after sales skills at all and as soon as he has his commission he is not bothered. He has ignored my emails for weeks and months and then only replied when i have chased and re forwarded emails to him. Quite frankly, i find his attitude shocking and rude and i have never experienced such terrible customer service. I am now STILL chasing the work to be completed on the car and i have asked for this issue to be passed on to higher management, so we will see what happens (when he replies as he likes to take 4 days minimum to reply to me). Would not recommend and i would never shop with Marshall again.
