About Alana Clinic:

The Alana Hair Clinic is a healthcare polyclinic accredited by the Turkish Ministry of Health. The Alana Hair Clinic also holds the International Medical Tourism licence from the Turkish Ministry of Health, allowing the acceptance of international patients from all over the world.

Hair transplantation procedures are performed by doctors, nurses, and anesthesiologists inside the facility. “During the initial stages of considering MCAN as my chosen provider the point of contact was always on hand to answer any questions. The logistics were well managed, I.e. Hotel transfers, hotel itself etc. On the day of my treatment the majority of the team were great. However, I found the technician who performed my procedure to be unprofessional. When I asked for a break due to being in pain & weak from the procedure, physically shaking due to requiring sugar, she refused on numerous occasions, telling me to carry on as well as lying about how long was left on the treatment. The local anesthesia had worn off on one side of my head so it was painful and only after continuously asking did she apply more, albeit limited. I don't think it helped that her and her accomplise didn't really speak any English. They put a radio/tv show on in Turkish and spoke loudly in their language throughout, I found this inappropriate. At one point another the Dr and another technician came in, who speak better English, and ensured that I got some water and sugar. To emphasise the rest of the team at the clinic were fantastic, however the technician who dealt with me spoiled the experience of the transplant for me. It is a shame I cannot reccomend the clinic whilst she behaves in this way. Today is the second day since I had my DHI hair transplant and the head is looking great.”

“Nearly 2 months after my liposuction and I’m healing well and can already see great results!!! . My overall experience with MCAN was great. Everything was arranged for us from the airport pick up, the hotel, to the over night stay at the private hospital. My surgeon Dr Murat was very good even though he did not speak English properly. Alper from the sales team was brilliant as was Saba from the after sales team. My overall experience was good, however my only criticism would be I felt that everything was a bit too rushed and more time should be spent with the patient making them feel at ease. Other than that all was good. Thank MCAN for making me feel great!”

“My experience with hair transplantation was fantastic, but the personal-patient relationship should be more welcoming. The airport shuttle was not made the best being rewarded with a city tour on the last day. The reality is not like the clinic's advertising video but I hope they solve this situation. Moreover, the transplant was a success and this is the most important.”

“During my experience with MCAN Health I've found more pros than cons but I want to explain them all: Pros: Good price (especially if compared to the prices on my country) great results (the results seem to be awesome), fantastic treatment (a huge thanks to the nurses, although sometimes was difficult to communicate with them in English). Finally, I want to say that the assistant, Saba, was really helpful and caring and she was the ultimate person who let me feel good and helped during my trip. Cons: I was promised a guided tour by the customer service, a man called José that doesn't work anymore with you, but at the end that wasn't the case. The new customer service operator, Ruvi, told us that such a thing is not offered in your clinic. In my opinion, and under the circumstances exposed, I think it should have been compensated in some way. I hardly doubt it would have been so difficult. Furthermore, 10 euros allegedly were compensate with the medicines but, again, this is not the case. On the other hand, the staff didn't know when I was going to leave and the date, actually, was agreed with customer service. At the end, that date was too soon to leave so I had to get my stitches removed in my hometown. Customer service didn't explain that I was going to pay for everything (medicines, hotel) and I felt quite tricked. Last year, I had a hair transplant in other clinic and I was perfectly explained that everything was completely included: medicines, hotel, a real guided tour, etc. Take care with this kind of things, please.”

“Facilities at the villa are very good. The assistant Aisha was very professional and helpful. Communication with the doctors wasn’t easy as their english level is not the best. Food and breakfast provided at the Hôtel wasn’t good and staff was rude with customers. Although it is a busy city, drivers should drive slower and not using their cellphones. The driver who picked us up from the airport using a White Ford was very professional and helpful.”

“Good experience at Mcan health for my hair transplant surgery. The surgery itself went very smoothly however most of which was performed by the technician not the doctors but I just hope that they knew what they were doing. (only the results will tell me in few months time ) 10 days post surgery so far so good. I would recommend this clinic to others”

“Very happy with the way the procedure was conducted. The entire mcan team was extremely helpfully in accommodating my stay and making me feel comfortable during my stay. Extremely knologable and skilled technicians were with me during the entire procedure and have made my post op much more easier to deal with. “Happy with the service, everything planned and promised before travel was followed through. I can see instant results but cant comment any further at the minute until i heal and swelling goes down. “Good service so far. Transfers from the airport to clinic, airport to the hotel have always been on time. The personnel was very kind, although it wouldn't hurt if they learned a bit of english. The procedure it self (fue) was straightforward, but I cannot pronounce my self with the result yet. I'll be back in a couple of months time with a more detailed review about the evolution.”
