“Purchased a Miele dishwasher with auto dos, 18 months later it started throwing faults up. As it was still in warranty I contacted the company we bought it from and they tried to fix it. Unfortunately, they couldn't and by this time, it was outside the 2 year warranty. Every time Miele customer service has called they either don't read the notes on my account or try and call me for something completely different. Eventually, we had an engineer come out and not only did he slag off the local distributors engineers he told us we have to put clean dishes in the dishwasher or it won't work. He left and the first time we used it....it broke again, with a different issue. Called up customer service and they tried to give me fees for someome to come out and fix the issue the engineer caused!!!! I logged a complaint that they didn't register, they lied to my local distributor about me saying I was calling them back. Now after an 'official complaint' was logged and I got a complaint number i was promised a call back in 48 to 72h. Well nearly a week later and I'm still waiting for that call. I might of got unlucky with a bad machine but the level of customer service from Miele is by far the WORST I have ever received. This will be the first and last time I buy from Miele. “I had a fault on my 4 year old washer dryer. I contacted Customer Services who arranged for an engineer visit.
The engineer came and found a major fault with the Twin Dos function; it was leaking onto the computer board. The engineer informed me he had arranged for a new machine to be delivered and the call out charge would be refunded. The money was back in my account within the hour, the machine was delivered and installed 2 days later!
Yes, you pay more for a Miele appliance but when you get service like I received itβs worth it!
