DO NOT BUY MIELE OVENS!!!! When buying Miele H6160BP Electric Oven, I thought that spending over £1100 would give you piece of mind for at least 10 years... unfortunately I was wrong. This oven broke after 6 years. It decided that it will be increasing the temperature as much as it can, instead of to the set temperature. Luckily, we noticed the fault when it had 360 degrees and turned it off prior going further up. I'd think it may end up burning down the whole house if it wasn't spotted. Calling out Miele technician to fix it would cost me £279! WOW! Honestly, just managed to get a different oven for £300 with 5 years warranty instead. Good luck, but no Miele for me ever again.

Their strapline is ‘Immer besser ’ meaning Miele will do all they can to be forever better than their competitors & forever better than they already are!’ For a premium brand I would have expected more. My dishwasher had an error code & was inoperable for 3 weeks while I waited for a technician. They have 1 Technician for the whole of the South West inc The Isles of Scily & The Channel Isles! Unbelievable! In the meantime, repair date slipped, I took out a fixed price repair contract as was told part would cost in the region of £400+. It was in fact £90! I complained & was given a code to spend £25 on their site to restore my faith in the brand. The code was ‘invalid’ when I tried to use it. I then made another call to put in my order of x2 vacuum bags to be told I would need to pay postage! This was over 4 weeks ago & have been told they will not be dispatched until 22 Jan, almost 8 weeks! I could have ordered them from Amazon for cheaper & free delivery! What a CS shambles. Will not be buying from Miele again due to the challenges encountered when having to deal with repairs & purchases. I do not feel valued as a customer with this faceless organisation. They do not live up to their guiding principles. Have had no apology & don’t feel they have learnt a thing from my experience.

Agree with others, customer service is terrible. I bought a washing machine less than a year ago which has broken down twice. The second engineer who came out told me he couldn't repair it and left. Miele say that I didn't want him to repair it (why did I let him to look at it then?) and now they have a process to follow. I do not understand why they can't give me a straight answer as to who needs to deal with the matter. Can the machine be repaired, is it going to be replaced or will I get a refund? Either way I just want a working washing machine, I have children and dirty washing piling up and no way of knowing how long sorting this out will take. The customer service adviser said it could be be a week or 8 weeks depending on who is dealing with it! Any one else have similar with Miele?

Extremely disappointed with the service. I provided the error code on the dishwasher when booking the service and the technician came out confirmed the code and said that he had no parts. Left after 5 minutes but I am still asked to pay the £170 call out charge. I contacted customer service and did nit get very far as they are not interested in helping. Very disappointing for a premium brand- will not buy again.

I am deeply disappointed with Miele’s handling of my recent washing machine purchase. Despite the initial excitement, the process has been marred by a series of setbacks, and I feel compelled to share my dissatisfaction. It has taken me over three months to purchase and install a washing machine from Miele, which at the time of me writing this review has still not been delivered. Unfortunately, what should have been a straightforward transaction has evolved into a prolonged and stressful experience. The delivery and installation has delayed with no concrete resolution, leaving me without a fully functioning appliance for an extended period. My frustration peaked when I sought assistance from the customer service team. In total I have spent over 10 hours on the phone with Miele, attempting to resolve the issues and gain clarity on the status of my order. Regrettably, the responses have been inconsistent, and the promised resolutions never materialized. The lack of communication and follow-through has left me feeling helpless and stressed. Despite expressing my concerns to the complaints team, there is no real resolution to my ongoing problem. This experience has not only tested my patience but has also eroded my confidence in Miele’s commitment to customer satisfaction. In the future, I hope Miele reevaluates its customer service processes to ensure a smoother experience for customers. As it stands, my journey with Miele has been far from satisfactory, and I believe it is crucial for others to be aware of the challenges they may encounter when dealing with this company. Especially, being customers paying a premium price

Miele Customer Services Are Liars I purchased a Miele TwinDos washing machine in November 2019 where UltraPhase 2 would leak into the TwinDos compartment and washing machine. I stopped using TwinDos. A technician was called and ordered a new TwinDos compartment. After fitting this on their second visit, UltraPhase 2 continued to leak, although not as much. I called out the technician, who ordered another TwinDos compartment. While waiting, I, like before, stopped using TwinDos and then Covid happened. After three months, a technician arrived to fit the new TwinDos compartment he brought with him. He refused to fit it on the basis of not being able to see a leak; he left. I reinserted the UltraPhase bottles and upon leaking, I called out another technician who claimed the leak was normal. I’m guessing there wasn’t enough of a leak, so I continued to use TwinDos and waited a couple of months before calling a technician. By this time, over two years had passed and the guarantee had lapsed. Due to Covid, I had not realised the time that had passed with this issue…my fault. The technician brought a new TwinDos compartment with him, which, according to him, was an upgraded one, as Miele were aware of the leaking issues with some TwinDos compartments. This was also meant to be a free upgrade from Miele. However, Miele sent me an invoice of £218.78 I called Miele and mentioned all my troubles with TwinDos. The customer service agent was also able to see, from my Miele Profile, that I own 17 other Miele appliances. I bought my first in 1992 After putting me on hold for a while, I ended up having to pay the callout charge of £150 The washing machine now leaks UltraPhase 1 into the TwinDos compartment instead. The technician that fitted the upgraded compartment, came back with an o-ring and some other parts that he changed on the UltraPhase 1 inlet. It continues to leak. As life happens, the last visit’s guarantee had ran out. I decided to order the inlet parts and replace them myself and see if that remedies the issue. I ordered the parts on the 21st June 2023 and was warned of the long lead-time and to expect the parts in July 2023 Unable to find the time to fit the parts, I waited until the 9th September 2023 to ask Miele of their whereabouts; I was told they would be with me in 5 days. They did not arrive. I called on the 19th September 2023 and was told they’d be with me in 2 days. Again they have not arrived. I was therefore lied to, three times. Today, 25th September 2023, I requested a refund!

I bought a very expensive G660SCVi integrated dishwasher in 2017. In March 2021 the circulation pump had to be replaced after breaking. This is not a cheap repair - on the border of being uneconomical. But once is bad luck, right? And it was still just about cost effective to do it. So I had it repaired. Recently the dishwasher stopped working again with an F84 error and I called out an engineer. Firstly the price of the call out had nearly trebled since 2021! It was £160. In 2021 it was £60. Secondly the engineer told me another circulation pump had broken but he could replace it free if I paid for Labour. I agreed to this - Still cheaper than buying a new dishwasher. The repair didn't work however and the engineer then concluded the issue was the powerboard, a part which needed to be ordered. I was offered the same terms to replace the part - ie free part, pay for Labour and duly billed for the failed call out. If I accepted their offer this repair would've cost £320 on a 6 year old dishwasher. The engineer, though friendly enough, also did a substantial amount of damage to my kitchen units while removing the dishwasher (scuffs and a chunk of wood taken out of the door pillar). Accepting Miele's offer would take the total I've spent on this machine in 6 years of ownership close to £1,000 including repairs to my kitchen. Is this level of service what we buy buy a Miele for? This is a really poor and unacceptable level of quality and service for a premium brand. You can get a new dishwasher for about half the price of a Miele with a marginally lower efficiency rating and replace it every 3 years for this money. That's what I would recommend you do. Especially if it's integrated. Nobody will know what badge is on it. Do not buy Miele.

We needed our Miele integrated freezer fixing. On calling customer services I was recommended a £299 all inclusive/parts included service as the lady suggested that the freezer was probably repairable. When the engineer arrived he did a cursory check and immediately said it was the compressor which would cost £600 to exchange and wasn't covered under the scheme I paid for. Initially, I wasn't told there was a cap on repair/parts cost so was very disappointed to be offered a new freezer from Miele costing over £2000. I tried to get through the customer complaints procedure by completing the online form. A response was promised withing 2 working days. We heard nothing so I rang customer complaints twice and the first time the agent said someone more senior would get back to me. The second time, after explaining my issue to the agent I was left hanging on the phone for about 20 minutes before the phone cut off. Nobody returned my call. I simply wanted to know if the compressor could be changed (even if I paid for it!).

I had a fault on my 4 year old washer dryer. I contacted Customer Services who arranged for an engineer visit. The engineer came and found a major fault with the Twin Dos function; it was leaking onto the computer board. The engineer informed me he had arranged for a new machine to be delivered and the call out charge would be refunded. The money was back in my account within the hour, the machine was delivered and installed 2 days later! Yes, you pay more for a Miele appliance but when you get service like I received it’s worth it! Well done, Miele!

Dreadful company. Bought two ovens for new kitchen, one failed within first year and was condemned when just out of warranty - spare parts quote was over £800. Second oven failed within weeks of it being used as main oven. PCB (mother board) failed on both ovens and Miele do not give a sh*t. Ovens were over £1500 each, you decide.

My Miele washer dryer WTF130 WPM PWash 2.0 GB drying function has broken down after 3 years of service, with a minimum usage during this time. The engineer come and quoted £728 for repair but could offer 50% discount on parts which reduced the price to £562. I have paid £150 for 1h visit to investigate what is wrong. I would never buy any other product from Miele as quality is not what it used to be 10 or 20 years ago, and is unreliable product. I bought it for £1900 and its wasted money. My previous machine was hotpoint and lasted 10 years with no repairs or servicing required.

When the extractor fan in our oven starting making horrendous noises we called Miele. Miele products can only be serviced by Miele engineers which limits you to their fixed price repair or standard call out fee. I spoke with customer service and explained the issue and advised it was an older oven as wanted to check parts were still available. They arranged the visit for the next day. I was very impressed. Miele called back to explain having spoken to a technician they needed to order the part in. Visit rearrange for the following week. The technician arrived, replaced the fan, advised the oven was fixed and left. I used the oven shortly after and within 5 minutes the same problem occurred. I texted and called the technician explaining the problem was still occurring and asked if he could return. I was asked to send a recording of the noise. From this recording he diagnosed it was actually another extractor fan that was faulty and this part was no longer available! My oven is beyond economical repair less than a week before Christmas! I was dissatisfied as the oven had not been serviced properly or tested and requested a refund. I was offered a partial refund. I called customer service to explain the service had not been carried out properly. After a long time of being told the service had been carried out I asked to be escalated to a Manager. I was told to expect a call back in 72 hours. No call back, so I had to chase. Again very poor customer service from the Manager I spoke to. Now awaiting another call back after they have spoken with the technician. Miele are extremely poor at dealing with dissatisfied customers. Still waiting for a resolution. No offer of help or guidance from Miele. They no longer make double ovens so can't even use the money against another oven. However, after this experience I would never purchase another Miele appliance.

Booked in a technician two weeks ago to repair a dishwasher, selected a date, heard nothing, then on the day received a txt from a service company asking for payment and then they would book a technician in, so what was the point of booking online? Appalling service, do not buy Miele, stick to Dyson.

Miele's service is absolutely appalling I originally purchased 11 Miele products and already I have had two of these appliances break down shortly after the warranty expired. The second time a build in Freezer it took then two weeks to get an engineer out nearly £300 up front to be told the Freezer is unrepairable and I would have to buy a new one disgracefully. I will need recommend Miele appliances

I have just installed and used my £1200 miele single oven for the first time. So far im very disappointed with the build quality. I had a Siemens oven before and i think the build quality was better. What is most disappointing about the oven is that is smokes alot. In fact I have never seen an oven smoke anywhere near as much. Miele customer service have been dismissive of the issue and have said they could arrange a call out in a week. Not really what you would expect from such a premium brand.
