“Good , efficient and friendly service. Their price was a lot better than other "Buy your car" sites. However they admitted that their prices can be good on some cars and not good on others depending on what resale stock they want. The bank transfer money was received on the same day. Over all a very good experience and would use this firm again”

“So much for "We understand that all used vehicles will have some level of wear and tear - the older they get, the more they will have (sadly, just like us!). Don't worry if your vehicle has a few minor chips or scuffs as we will factor in an element of this dependent on the age of the vehicle. We just ask that you tell us about any damage that you would not expect on a vehicle of that age. As a rough guide we would expect you to tell us about any chips, dents or stuffs that are larger than a 20 pence piece and any interior damage such as rips or tears in fabric or leather." An 8 year old car with the biggest scratch on the wing mirror, and you could replace the cover on that for £14, yet the paintwork needed £300 spent on it. Nothing even approaching the size of a 20p. Same old, same old...”

“Great experience! We took my wife's much-loved Audi A1 to Sheffield, met David, agreed a price and were on our way home within less than an hour! When we got home, the money was in our bank account, as promised. I'd definitely recommend this service - just be realistic about the price you want.”

“Excellent service! A very pleasant suprise. I travelled from southampton to Chesterfield as the price I was offered was far better than any offer I had through local garages and other car buyer sires. “Called in on spec as we are local, received a warm welcome. Car was checked over by Dave, value agreed and we returned the following day to complete the transaction. Money was in the account the same day. First class and would definitely recommend.”

“From beginning to end a painless and profitable exercise! I submitted details of my Skoda Yeti Black Edition 4x4, received a good and fair valuation, £1200 more than another carbuying site (that also deducts fees, unlike this one), visited Chesyerfield by appointment and was met by Dave. Polite, non pushy, he assessed the car and agreed to pay the pre-arranged price. As it was late Friday I had to wait for payment till Monday, and there it was at 2:00 pm! Payment in full, and the best car selling experience I've ever had.”

“In selling our car to Mike Brewer we received a better price than anyone else offered. The whole process was friendly and professional and exactly as described on their web site. “Mike Brewer Motors offered more than the other car buying companies and with no admin fee to pay it was a better deal. Took the car to Sheffield and within the hour we were on our way home again having been given a lift to the train station, the money was in our bank the next day. I would definitely recommend them.”

“As per other reviews the price quoted was honoured as long as you are honest on the condition of car. David Harris is very pleasant and reasonable to deal with. A quick inspection of the car is made then if all is as described you will receive paperwork to confirm the sale. The process takes around 30 minutes. The only issue I personally had was the payment was delayed for 2 business days which was initially a bit unnerving with nearly £20000 at stake. Even with this issue I would say this is by far the best car buying service I have used with regards to price offered and customer service. Worth the 300 mile around trip from London!”

“got a better price online from Mike Brewer than the others but thought they might try and knock me down when i got to sheffield but no got the price they quoted on line .David Harris checked car then took it for a test drive all ok filled in some paperwork gave my bank details money was in my account when i got home so easy well done Mike Brewers motors”

“Must admit, had the typical synisism that many would be sellers have, especially when the Motor Trade is littered with dealers (Jokers) who on the face of it, offer you a good price, only to revise their initial valuation excessively downwards due to the odd scratch. My experience with Mike Brewer's Cars has been very good indeed from the initial online valuation, right up to the agreement to sell. Their valuations are fair, their staff good (especially Dave) and all in all I would highly recommend them to any would be car seller. In my opinion, been an avid viewer of Mike Brewer's programmes, he comes over as fair on TV, and it's nice to see he is the same in business. 10/10 Mike!!! One very satisfied seller!!!”

“got a online quote of £10,300 better than anyone else by a few hundred pounds, i arrived at 10am told to have a coffee while they got hold of David Harris . a few min later David arrived he explained the procedures and left me to go and have a look at the car and take it for a test drive , within 10 min he was done and took my bank details upstairs to sort out . i got the £10,300 i was quoted and David gave me a lift to the train station at 11.15 so just over one hr , when i got home at 1.45 checked my bank to find the money had gone in great service by David and Mike Brewer i would recommend to anyone”

“I have nothing but praise for Mike Brewer Motors, I was given an online valuation for my vehicle, which was very fair, communication with Dave was excellent, very helpful and accommodating. on arrival was greeted with an offer of coffee before my car was inspected, within 15 minutes the valuation given on the website was agreed to the penny, no haggling or anything. A very professional set up, very courteous and helpful. I would recommend them to anyone without hesitation.”

“This company purchased my vehicle last week, and I would like to comment on the excellent service provided by their member of staff David. The procedures were explained and were straightforward, and within an hour of receipt and valuation of my vehicle, I was offered a slightly higher price than originally sent to me which I accepted, and after the paperwork had been completed David kindly offered to drive me to the train station so that I could return back to Lincolnshire.The payment for the vehicle was transferred online to my account and received before 5pm on the same day, thank you Mike Brewer Buys Your Car.”
