“The quality of the product is absolutely first class, but sadly they don't care about customer experience. I was a customer for nearly 3 years, ordering £100+ per month in kibble. I never once received any discount codes or valued customer vouchers. Recently their courier (DPD) let me down badly. When I complained there was no offer to compensate, even on future orders. They tried to imply this was the first time I'd had problems with DPD when the reality is that DPD is a shocking organisation with no means of handling bad practice. When I explained to Millies Wolfheart my concerns and the need to take my custom elsewhere they didn't even bother to reply. Their confidence in their product undermines their customer service attitude. I'm now with one of their competitors.”
“Great Product, Terrible Attitude to Customers
We have been buying from Millies for 3 years. This time the delivery of wet food was randomly split by DPD to two deliveries spaced out over the afternoon causing difficulties for my job. Things can go wrong on occasion and customer services are meant to be there for when they do. The 'Computer says...' attitude of the staff including the manager left an unpleasant taste. They as much as said they don't care about problems for their customers and boasted about how much they ship a day.
Not sure if I will continue with them, I am looking at alternatives.”
“Shocking customer services! The company sent me the wrong dog food which wasn’t noticed until a few weeks later when current supply of food ran out. I called the company explaining the situation (correct food ordered, wrong food sent) only to be quoted T&Cs and told it’s my mistake for not checking at the time of receipt. They were extremely rude on the phone & via email. Not only do I spend a considerable amount of money with them each month, I have also recommended to friends & family who also use them. Not a company I’ll recommending again in the future!”
“good dog food let down by slow dispatch, ordered on 15th December 2021 at 10:08am, as of 2pm on the 21st December DPD still had not received the parcel from you, i know its a 3 to 5 day delivery, but did not know it would be 3 days to a week before even sending the dog food out. They used the its Christmas excuse, well other companies seem to cope, but if you are behind with orders then keep your customers updated. An email to say you are behind would of helped, but sending out 6 days after i ordered does not leave much time for the courier to get it to us.”

“My bulldogs love Millies since switching from another premium brand. The biggest changes I have noticed for the better are calmer dogs, amazing coats and tiny poos! We use obedience currently and teatime use the wet as a topper for interest.
Their customer service and advice is excellent and prompt to respond.
We will definitely be sticking to this brand from now on.”
“Used countryside mix bag with success for around 2 years. Last month MW sent the wrong bag (salmon & veg) which we only realised after opening it as the packages are very similar. Our dog does not tolerate salmon (loose stools) therefore the bag was of no use to us. MW could understandably not accept a return of the opened bag but refused to offer any sort of recompense for their error leaving us stuck with a £53 bag we cannot use.
I was offered a £2 refund because the salmon+veg was £2 less than countryside mix and they had the cheek to call this a 'gesture of goodwill'! I was offered a conversation with a nutritionist which was pointless as I know my dog tolerates countryside mix.
It appears they would rather lose a regular customer than take any amount of responsibility for their error.”
“This food is amazing. I have a rescue Shar Pei who is allergic to life itself. Including most foods. Since changing to both wet and dry food from Millies her allergies are finally settling down. The yeast smell is finally leaving her skin. Can't recommend there food enough”
“Very impressed with Millies Wolfheart. I was recommended by a friend as their dog was introduced to their food and they said the customer service was great which is true! I sent a lenghty email about my dog and asked them for recommendations on which type of food to feed. They replied the next day (my email was sent late one evening) and they suggested three types of food. Explained how to introduce it and even advised buying the smaller bags to try first!
The food has now been delivered and so far my dog loves it! Hopefully we will be placing another order very soon!”
