Problem description:
On April 4th, I ordered a number of T--shirts from MixUnit.com, a webite that sells various music-related product. They also do business as MixTape.com and are listed through the BBB.Org site as The Music Unit, LLC. The purchase was made for $214.95. I had double ordered one shirt and followed up immediately with a request through the Customer Service portal on their website to please simply credit that back. From then on, I heard nothing. I kept trying: Through the portal and direct email. No response. On the 7th, they charged my credit card. On the 11th, I DID receive a response that stated they had credited my account - for the double ordered shirt. That's it. No tracking detail, nothing about the other shirts. Interestingly, as soon as I received that email, I then was hit with almost a dozen fraudulent attempts on the same card, all of which came from the Oakland/San Francisco area. If you look at the BBB profile, the lack of contact and product is something others have experienced , as well. The owner is Mr. Michael Rios. I have found multiple telephone numbers for him. None are answered, while one, which is in their billing descriptor, does noit identify the company and is not serviceable due to "trhe mailbox being full." I am going to refer this to the CT Attorney General as a possible conduit to fraudulent activity (ie. passing the card info to others). I have sent an email to the company letting them know that I am going to dispute the charge through my CC company and that I will have reached out to CT BBB and the AG's office. This stuff needs to stop. It is criminal behavior, not simply bad business practices. “If I could give them negative 5 stars I would!!, I ordered 4 cds from them November 9th and never got them...I called the number listed..emailed them..even went threw PayPal and no response 5 weeks later!!..never ever waste your time with this site!!”
“DO NOT ORDER FROM THESE CROOKS!! I used to order all the time from them and had absolutely no issues. I placed another large order 2 months ago and have heard absolutely nothing back from them. It just says my order is processing. There is no way to contact these scammers. It's ridiculous. Please do not waste your money ordering from these clowns!!!”

This time I spent over $400 and have been waiting for my order for over a month.
They don't have a phone number to speak to anyone
They reply to emails with some nonsense about the owner being in the hospital (apparently they have been using the same excuse for over two years)
They have time to update their website but can ship your order out.
PLEASE SAVE YOUR MONEY AND PURCHASE FROM SOMEWHERE ELSE BECAUSE YOU WILL NEVER SEE YOUR ORDER...

“I got the same exact email as everyone below. Absolutely ridiculous how they can't even refund and cancel orders or give an ETA on when orders will be shipped. It's a shame as they were great in the beginning but that is no longer the case. And the craziest part is the site is still up and taking orders. If the owner is in the hospital, don't take more orders.”
