Deeply disappointed. Despite the description, the gusset—the most important part—is 100% synthetic polyester/polyamide, NOT cotton. I expected better for women's health.

I paid for express post to try and get the items I needed before going away. It took 2 days for shipping label to even be created and 6 days for the delivery to arrive at my house (in Sydney Metro). On enquiring I was told there was a backlog after the long weekend. I get that, but there really could have been some sort of a notice on the website for expected delays. Most express shipping I order (from other companies) arrives the next day, 2 days later at most. It was very disappointing.

I didn’t recieve all the items I paid for now they are sold out online too I doubt I’ll get what I paid for I bought 6 items not 5…

Two deliveries, one with an item missing, the next with the wrong item. It took two emails and 3 weeks to receive the correct item first time around. I had to do a size exchange, but was then sent the incorrect item. I reported the second incorrect delivery over a week ago but the correct item still hasn't shipped. No refunds on swimwear is a bit inconvenient given how difficult it is to find swimmers that fit.

Spent a small fortune on period underwear for my two teenage daughters. Not impressed with the quality of the newest ones. They leak right through. Had 2 pairs of the boy leg ones leak on my daughter. Terribly embarrassing outing today needing new pants while out shopping

The items I ordered ran noticeably larger than expected which led me to return most of my order. Because I ordered from the U.S., the shipment was subject to tariffs and customs fees, which were non-refundable. As a result, the few items I did keep ended up being disproportionately expensive relative to their value. Additionally, their policy of not honoring discounts on exchanged items made it impractical to reorder the correct size. Repurchasing would have required paying full price, now along with additional tariffs and duties, making the total cost unreasonably high. This effectively made continuing to shop with Modibodi economically unfeasible. While I was initially interested in trying the period underwear and swimwear, this experience resulted in a very high cost for what ultimately felt like a trial. Given that there are other brands offering genuinely organic cotton options at more accessible price points, I’ve decided to take my business elsewhere. Overall, this was a disappointing experience, and not one I feel justified the amount I spent. Their customer rep didn’t appear overly forthcoming with helpful solutions to keep my business. Frankly it seemed as though that she didn’t care and couldn’t be bothered by the conundrum. The only thing she did was refund me for 1 pair that I was allowed to keep as per their policy. I understand that the company is not responsible for tariffs, duties, or import fees. However, my overall experience was significantly impacted by inaccurate sizing and a lack of flexibility around pricing and/or to help the customer out.

I ordered 2 items, swimwear for my 13 year old daughter. After waiting almost 3 weeks, I was refunded my money with no other contact to say why the order was not being fulfilled. Terrible customer service and so annoyed I have wasted all this time and still no products that are really needed.

The size 12-14 bathing suit I received is significantly smaller than the online measurements suggest. Because I had to open the package to check the size, I’m now told it isn't returnable.

I received the two items very promptly but when I opened the parcel I discovered they were much too large. In order to find this, I, of course, had to open one package. I emailed immediately stating that I had not tried on the undies but had followed the Size Guide on the website. I was then asked to repeat that I had not tried on the undies. I did so, and was quite annoyed by the tone of the email. The next email I received stated that further advice would be sought. I noticed that a rival firm offering the same type of underwear offers a replacement for the incorrect size without the necessity of returning the items. Quite a different attitude. Now I am informed that an exchange can be made- once! Obviously this will be my last purchase from this vendor.

AI responds to messages and when you get a real person they don’t address my consumer rights for postage refund. It should take two weeks to get an order from an Australia owned company. The quality feels somewhat cheap and isn’t as comfortable as Bonds, they’re so stiff that they ride up your backside.

I’m not usually someone who leaves reviews, but this experience was very disappointing. I placed an order on 1 Jan at 10pm and shortly after realised I had ordered the wrong item (a brief instead of a set of bikini). As the order hadn’t been dispatched, I emailed to either change the delivery address or cancel the order. I was initially told it hadn’t been over 24 hours and they would see what could be done. I replied requesting cancellation, but then received a response saying the order had been processed and neither option was possible — even though it still hadn’t been dispatched. This directly contradicted the earlier response. When I questioned this, I was told it was due to an automated response and nothing could be done. I also received the order on 12 Jan, despite the stated delivery timeframe being 3–5 business days, with no updates or apology for the delay. Overall, once you place an order, you’re stuck. Returns require paying all delivery fees, making it not worth it. Very poor system and customer experience.
