“After ordering I emailed Modibodi to ask a question. It was responded by an AI bot but written like a human with light hearted, trying to be funny comments, plus emojis saying no they couldn't make a change to the order. I really didn't appreciate an AI response which was just a waste of time as later that day a human responded with an actual solution. On arrival of the package, I opened and tried on only one pair before washing. It was a package deal, some moderate and some super absorbancy in the same style and same size. You can see here from the image that the moderate and super absorbancy in size 12 are completely different sizes. I only tried on the super before washing (cold wash, and hang dried) and then realized how much smaller the moderate absorbancy are. They leg holes are far too tight so I will contact support now for a solution hopefully.”
“Modibodi is the only period underwear I buy. I have made several purchases over the last few years and am disappointed to say that I believe the quality has dropped. I still have pairs from my first purchase that are going strong however I have pairs from more recent purchases that are no longer wearable because the gusset has worn out or the stitching has come undo. in my most recent order I purchased 6 pairs all in a size 16 (2 sensual french cut, 2 boyshort and 2 sensual hi waisted bikini) I noticed that even though they are the same size there is a noticable size variation even in the pairs of the same style.”
“Paid for express shipping because we were going away. The item took 7 days to arrive and my daughter did not receive swimwear in time for QLD holiday.
So she had to wear period underwear under her swimmers..
Very disappointing.. she has not tried the product yet, so can’t comment on effectiveness. It’s quite a small fit. And she was well under the measurements. They really need to include bodice length.”
“I have loved some of the styles of ModiBodi, but this latest one is cut too short over the buttocks, the elastic isn't tight enough, and the pants ride up. Coupled with that, the size medium I ordered are an inch wider than other pairs I have bought. I will be returning them, unfortunately.”
“I ordered and paid the extra for express delivery, and item was sent over a week later only after I had emailed. Express delivery charges were refunded, item arrived 1 1/2 weeks after ordering and as I had already left on my holiday no one was there to accept delivery so package sent back to postal office. I will return from holiday and package will have already been sent back to modi body warehouse as unclaimed. Pretty much ruined the first week of my holiday as I needed the period swimwear.”
“I've bought from modibodi a few times. The first time, over 5 years ago, I followed the size guide and bought a bundle in size 8. I thought this was strange but measured myself multiple times and concluded yes, I should definitely order a size 8. They were extremely tight and I was unable to wear them.
After that, I bought a few more pairs in my usual size, size 12, and almost all of them fit perfectly, with the exception of a pair of boyshorts that was somehow both too tight over the bum and thighs and too loose over my stomach.
Last year, I was excited to buy a couple pairs of seamless underwear - I bought those in a size 12. The sizing was ridiculously off. The hips fit well, but the crotch is incredibly loose and hangs low (roughly an inch too low) for some reason. These ones, despite being loose, are comfortable. I pull the waistband up high enough that they are usable - and get an incredible cameltoe in the process. Oh, well.
I have now bought multiple new pairs and once again they almost all fit well.
I bought a pair similar to the ones I bought originally in a size 8, but this time in a size 14. And they fit perfectly.
I bought 2 other pairs in a size 12. They both fit wonderfully.
I also bought 2 pairs of swim bottoms - a pair of shorts which fits well, and the hi-leg cheeky bottoms in a size 12. The latter are a size too big and fit my sister, size 14, perfectly. They also have the added bonus of giving you the worst cameltoe you've probably ever seen. We are both quite upset about this, as I'm unable to wear them, and she will have to wear swimshorts over them when she is swimming on her period.
For the high price of these products, I'm really disappointed that these sizing issues have continued over the many years I've bought from Modibodi. I've overlooked the problems in the past because I love the products that DO fit and they're both cute and effective - but because of these continuous problems, I hesitate to buy from here again. PLEASE do better.”
