This robe is velveted and the navy color is a nuanced deep blue with an interior light...not a dead dull navy. Truly fantastic for California weather as it is warm but not heavy. The tight weave keeps your heat in without bulk. The kimono sleeves are a great length for warmth without getting wet because they are not so long that you can not complete a simple task .
