So they want £700 a month , we can’t pay that I’ve done everything they have asked us to do but nothing is good enough, all they want is BLOOD 🩸 . We have payed every month (except for out holiday break ) more then we should be paying but still not good enough . PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE STSY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY.

I have had to take extra medication due to this company. I had to shield over covid couldnt work, they will only accept to make up the payments an extra 140 a month, which is nearly double my normal amount. I hae had letters all to my old address, eventhough changed it and reminded them,so many unanswered emails, i cant sleep, they just dont care........find someone who has some little amount of care before getting a car finance with them. Mines with the ombudsman, but they still refuse to put the account on hold.

I'm absolutely appalled that after 6 conversations about the "loss of value" bill I received money barn have now decided to register this with the credit agencies. They sent me a bill for work on a van that is 8 years old, of which was returned in the same condition i purchased it off them in. They have no report on the van prior to me purchasing it to show it was in better condition either. the van I purchased from their "approved supplier" was returned to moneybarn in the same condition I purchased it in apart from the sign writing and mileage, which moneybarn lent against the condition of the van at the time!!!!!! So how on earth can they now try and bill me? Is it because they had no idea of the condition of the van you was lending against???? The breaks fell off the van after 3 weeks of purchasing and after reporting this they did not reply to anything which cost me £400, the approved supplier also did not reply!!! I will be taking this to county court now, I cannot believe they have the cheek to bill me for work to a van that was returned in the same condition I purchased it in.... There's absolutely no talking to these people at all. They want there money and will do anything to get it

They refuse to listen to complaints. They have no interest in you. No other creditor has ever treated me in such a disrespectful way. They should be shut down.

Pray on vulnerable- ridiculous interest rates and the get out clause is you give them the car back and still pay the arrears.shameful rates especially when you know they are for customers in dire straits who’s mental health will suffer as a result of these toxic contracts.

The worse company I have ever had the misfortune to deal with. Cannot trust a word they tell you because the will not stick to it and when you contact them they claim it was never agreed. 2 years of hell. Do NOT use these people.

At first I thought they were amazing, that’s only because I went through a broker. The second I went directly to them, that’s when everything went to s**t. Started a complaint to put the Range Rover back because there was issues with the diff, electrical issues and one of the rear brake disks were sticking on, had it checked over by a reputable garage, had a written report done by said garage, 4 weeks after opening the complaint I ended up in a car accident in the car. Going forward about 8-10 weeks after opening the complaint and having an accident, the car being sat outside for a month obviously not driven due to it being written off, they come back with “there was no signs of issues with the brakes” with attached photos of them being ORANGE WITH RUST!?!?! Of course you’re not going to see the evidence of the rear discs having being excessively hot. I might be a female but I’ve been in about cars since I was able to walk. I’m not a dumb ass. So, off to trading standards and financial ombudsman we go! I won’t stop until this company is destroyed like they’ve done to my mental state!!

Like many, I experienced a drop in income during lockdown. I took a payment holiday with this bunch of jokers. On getting back in touch to arrange stepped up repayments they wanted an additional £100 on top of my existing repayment which was not feasible. I asked if I could even recommence full repayments and deal with the arrears at a future point but they refused to accept my payment. Raised a complaint, never heard anything for over 2 months, then got a letter advising my agreement was to be terminated!!! I must have made over 20 calls and could never get through -trying to explain that I did not have time to wait half an hour during the working day did not seem to compute. I have another two cars on finance and the companies could not be more helpful. Avoid avoid avoid!

Received a quote from these idiots and that’s as far as it goes. 31.9% APR. I’ve 1 default for £78.00 and 2 late payments Experian score of 921 but trans union just 600 ? Either way not the worst credit record just a couple of minor mistakes however recently looked into purchasing a new car wanted to borrow £10,000 on a £27,000 car and the dealership farmed me out to these idiots after close brothers declined me, anyway I just couldn’t believe the quote from these people. Nobody should ever ever get into an agreement with the likes of money barn they are disgusting criminals who prey on the vulnerable, someone needs to shut these cowboys down end of, I hope moneybarn gets more fines and eventually shut down

wish I could give a 0! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! I have spent weeks trying to contact this company and most of the staff have been extremely rude on the phone! Very quick to take money off you but impossible to get help when needed. I could happily rate this company a zero every day for the rest of my life. I’m currently in the middle of a complaint with the company who are taking MONTHS to even reply. I’m a single mum with a broken car but yet moneybarn doesn’t seem to care about their customers clearly. They’ve sent someone out WEEKS ago to check my car over as it’s been broken since day 1! I’ve rung/ email & I get no answers. I’m paying £253 for a car I’ve had for months which has been broken for MONTHS. You should be ashamed of yourselves. Trading Standards are now involved. Ref number -884755. Bar far the worst finance company.

These are the worse company I have ever had to deal with in my entire life. The service is disgusting. They gave me credit through concept cars, my car broke down through no fault of my own so I used my right to reject. They would not accept the right to reject and concept who lied and said they would fix the car haven't they have simply made it vanish!!! But money barn will not investigate this they want to repossess the car but i said 12 months ago I did not want the car I wanted right to reject. for 12 months I have been back and forth and today defaulted for 22 grand

NO MATTER HOW BAD YOUR CREDIT RATING IS, NEVER EVER GO TO THESE FOR A LOAN! I bought a car for £8000. I'd already paid £3000 off the car but due to losing my job I had no option but to hand the car back. I understand that I signed an 'agreement' and had to pay interest, but these people now say that I owe them £4888. Even though they have sold the car for probably £5000. I know that I would have some interest to pay, but to be charged nearly £5000 for the privilege of having a car for less than a year. On top already paying £250 a month. Absolute con!!

Can't go as low as zero stars, unfortunately, They are a scam, Never apply car finance with them, I do share my experience with you then you will release what will happen if you get car finance with them, I borrowed £5500 for 5 years and I managed to pay it off completely in 6 months time, but they are trying to charge me £2037 interest only for 6 months, I spoke with them more than 7-8 months couldn’t get anywhere, They confirmed me yes this is the correct amount for 6 months you need to pay £2037 interest. My contract says 34.9% fix APR if you would like to have the same experience as I had you are more than welcome apply with them. I am going to get them to the court.
