Why are flowers sent out in such poor condition, I recently received a mother's day bouquet, that arrived in an enormous box this ensured that the flowers were not damaged in transit, however the flowers were limp and wilted, the foliage resembled stewed spinach, obviously causing disappointment, these problems are in my opinion due to flowers being transported in vans that are not air conditioned as the water that was keeping them moist was very warm, warm enough to be cooking the stems and low to middle length stems and leaves.
