“My score of 8 is actually pretty good considering that out of the last four planes I ordered only one arrived in near perfect condition, that was the L-15 6s version jet. I haven’t built or tested the Mirage 80mm that I just received. I did however remove the lid and already noticed the crumple marks on the rear end of the fuse. Then I noticed that the foam was cracked up at the nose end so obviously the box as dropped on the end where the rear fuse is which pushed it upward forcing the fuse nose to break out of the foam at the nose end. This is my third Mirage. My first one was the best but it’s got so many flights that it’s worn out. My second one was the worst. Nothing lined up. The Rudder didn’t line up flush because the panels glued were crooked which also made the rear exhaust look bad. Also the hatch was so loose fitting it popped off just by picking the plane up. I had to glue a piece of 5mm foam in the front like a shim to keep the fuse latched so I could fly it for the first time.
My F22 90mm Raptor arrived with a faulty ELEV servo. Motion sent me a new servo but it was the wrong one. Or so I thought. After the tech gave me a really hard time dam near calling me a liar and I ordered the part myself we figured out that the two ELEV servos were installed on the wrong sides, so they were backwards. I ended up ordering my own servo.
So I think 8 for a score is being very generous considering that I have over 100 planes, about 70% are jets and many of them came from either MotionRC or Eflite Horizon. When I buy a new Jet I like my Jet to be NEW as in no damage.”
