“I’m currently having a terrible experience with one of your traders. Fieldhouse motors a big scam. He sells bad cars to people and then lie that he has travelled abroad. He sold a car with bad gear to my husband and agreed to repair or refund. Now he has stopped picking our calls. This has affected our mental health badly. We can’t concentrate at work. We are so traumatized.”

“would leave a no star review but that's not an option. Left a £200 depost with auto technik in ilford but when I came to view the car it was miss advertised, the mileage was higher, the condition of the wheels were awful despite being told it was immaculate, the mot was advertised as 10 months it had 3, the warranty was 3 months on the site but told 1000 miles in person, advertised as full service history but told it had some and did not turn on. i declined to take the car and have asked for 50% of my deposit back and been told its non refundable and now being ignored, I turned up for the appointment as agreed and was keen to purchase the car but it was not as listed so don't feel I should be punished for this, now being ignored buy company”

“Be carful when buying any export always ask for aution sheet as the mileage on the odometer and mot is always clocked and some even accident repaired car looks mint but be aware of dodgy practices even if they give warranty it doesn't actually cover you you still have to pay a good amount if say your gearbox went so do your own checks independently all the best”

“I bought a Mazda 3 and found it to have several warning lights including engine malfunction within an hour of purchase. I raised my concerns to the dealer who minimised the problem stating that Mazda have a way of throwing lots of warning lights for no reason. He said the car was safe to drive. I contacted Mazda for a second opinion and they advised that car had a serious issue and should not be driven unless it is to a garage. I contacted the dealer to resolve the matter amicably and he said that because i had sought outside advise without his consent the was not going to help with the issue or refund my money. You cant imagine the amount of stress this has caused in addition to not having a car to drive to work!!”

“Js car sales of the brick house ducie lane in Preston are not trustworthy I put a deposit on a Ford Transit connect to pickup at the end of the week day before due to collect it phone call to tell me the car was no longer available as the engine has seized said would come to collect my deposit told it's okay they will transfer it to me nothing happens many phone calls and messages still no refund garage now turned phones off went there all locked up but all vehicles still there.so I'm now taking legal procedings this company is run by cowboys unscrupulous people not a care about anyone pure theft”

“My son bought a vehicle of sherwood Cars and Commercial. Oh my god problems from the beginning driving home from Nottingham ro Bedford. They apparently honoured a fix But kept the car for 6 weeks so the apparent warranty would of run out. They apparently fixed all the issues with the vehicle. However we attempted to contact them for all that time for an update and never communicated with us. When thw car was returned the car would go cold also there was a knocking coming from the engine. We went to Nottingam shall I say at a slow speed they categorically told is the car was fine and that they had gassed up the up. They would take it to a garage themselves which would leave my son without a car for another week as he works Monday to Friday. So we decided take return with empty promises. Subsequently we took the car a £10.500 BMW 135i to my garage so they could have a look. The picture show that that the compressor was as you can see totally deformed and the inlet outlet pipes had been sorn to a point that Sherwood.cars .commercials wouldn't be able to do the work promised. Sherwood cars .commercials don't answer to calls reply to emails they take your money and go on holiday blatant liars and fraudsters. My son lastly did an oil change and found bit on it that my garage said that the cars engine was eating itself and would need a brand new engine which would cost about £4000 and £2.000 to fit. My son has taken a £6000 hit on the car and had to trade it in before the car blew up. SHERWOOD CARS COMMEECIALS OF Mansfield Road avoid at all cost total liars and fraudsters fancy offices that all they have.”

“Step son got a car from them, MOT'd it but with the engine management light on. So how did it pass. No V5 and couldn't even be bothered to sort out. Sent a mechanic around to fix engine management light, but still not sorted. He has asked for his money back as he can't drive the car. Said they would come round and pick up and give money back but then turn around to say that the mechanic has said we have modified the car, which is a lie as it hasn't been touched, but they wont come round to see that. They have told him to fix the engine management himself, sort the V5 out himself. Hes only just passed his test and he is gutted he has a car he can't even drive and now he has lost 2k because of these con men.”
