“I was given a box of 100 DVD’s so I went into Music Magpie to get ride of them. Scanning the barcode was pretty easy & it gave you an instant price & running total. MM accepted 37 DVD’s & rejected the others. A total of £9.97 from memory. I found a box printed the labels dropped off at my local store & about 4 days later they said they’d received the DVD’s I then got an email to say they were sending my money of £8,77 to my account. No explaination why it was less than quoted. 37 DVD’s for £8.77 I just wanted to get ride of them but perhaps a charity shop would have been much quicker. It took me I would guess about an hour out of my day I can’t say I could be bothered to do it again & I will still be dropping the rest at the charity shop!”

“Sold my Samsung s8 to MusicMagpie. The whole process was super easy, they quoted me a good price based on private sales on certain well known auction sites and once the phone had arrived with them the money was transferred by the end of the same day. Don't waste time with the idiots on Facebook marketplace or ebay, give MusicMagpie a try!”

“Sent three phones one mint condition and two older phones you offered £90 then after you received them you sent email saying mint condition phone was damaged that was a lie u offered then nearly £16 for that the other one £2 and never mention third been trying to contact you but no joy ! Have since seen on your reviews it's a regular scam you do 😡😡Susan”

“Purchased a "pristine" iphone 7, but when received had some aspects which did not work. Arranged through online customer services to return it for a refund. Although they could not comment as to whether an alternative "pristine phone" would work properly, I purchased a second phone prior to sending the first one back. This was because they could not help by doing an immediate swap. This "pristine" iphone has just arrived four days late and seems also to have issues - the touch ID does not work, for example. So now I have 2 "pristine" iphones - both with issues which would have shown up had they been properly checked, to send back. Musicmagpie says that it performs extensive checks but this is clearly not correct. Really disappointed with my experience and cannot recommend.”

“Shocking customer service, worst experience ever! DO NOT BUY FROM THEM! Shocking customer service I have had the worst customer experience with Music magpie ever. I ordered a phone on Jan 31st. The phone I was sent was Faulty. I returned it and 2 weeks later after chasing numerous times was sent a second phone that was also faulty, I returned the 2nd phone and asked for a 3rd attempt but for them to please check the phone thoroughly before sending it out. I received the 3rd phone and to my dismay it was the original phone they sent out to me which was still faulty! and I have had to return for a 3rd time. we are now 4th March and I am still chasing my refund. This is the most unprofessional company I have ever dealt with. Bad products and even worse service! I asked for a manager to call me so that I could make a complaint only to be told that managers don't speak to the public!!! Completely disgraceful!”

“Easy to use although a bit frustrating that several of my CDs and DVDs were not accepted - even though I personally think they are some of the better ones! Also the fact that only orders with a certain number of items in them will be collected by a courier is not made clear enough, and it's a real pain to edit an order once you've completed it so I'm ending up having to take a box to the post office which is a bit inconvenient. Also for my first order the courier didn't turn up after I had waited in all day - obviously not the fault of Music Magpie but quite frustrating!!! Great way to make a bit of cash for stuff that's just lying around gathering dust though.”
