“Surprisingly didn't include mileage check from Mot history, and the valuation that appeared on the 'certificate' was for average mileage (50,000) in this case when the car only had 7000 miles, so looked like I'd overpriced it - since there is a mileage is on the check, can't understand why valuation is based on the average miles. Relatively expensive for single car check but at least data is valid unlike HPi.”

“For peace of mind an absolute must when looking for a car. The car I was interested in came back as possibly been written off because of a number plate change , I rang them up and they conducted further checks and learned that the private number belonged to a different car which had been made 6 years before mine. I would highly recommend.”

“Ref: 2472385 Reg: K100 CAF The information on your Carcheck report is inaccurate I have a letter from the insurance company to say that they have amended the write off category from C to D and also it has never been stolen and recovered. How do I get this corrected as it is putting off potential buyers ? Thanks, Alan Smith”

“I checked out a car I was thinking of buying, the guy said he'd only had it 18 months, and there was nothing wrong with it. When using your service to check this out, I found it had been a write off in January 2016 and he had had it 7 years. I think if I hadn't checked I might have been stuck with a car that was completely unsafe. Thank you.”

“I bought a Gold history car check report for a 1998 sports car that I'd seen on line advertised by a private seller. My report confirmed that everything was in order with regard to finance, crash damage and not having been stolen etc. It did raise one point that the advert didn't in that the car had been an imported model, however the seller did point this out when I met him and I bought the car. It's reassuring to know that the car you are going to see especially if you are travelling along way is 'in the clear'. In my opinion getting a report is certainly worth doing.”
