“Absolutely appalling experience from start to finish. The only reason I chose to order a new phone from MyDeal was the advertised promotion of earning 3 Qantas points per dollar spent. The problems began immediately. It took two weeks just to be informed that the colour I ordered was out of stock. After a frustrating series of back-and-forth emails, I was asked to choose a different colour—only for MyDeal to then claim the original colour was magically available again.
To top it off, I never received the promised Qantas points. No communication, no explanation—nothing. I had to chase it up myself. After speaking with Qantas, I was told that MyDeal declined the points on this purchase. The entire process was a shambles, characterised by poor communication, delays, and ultimately, false advertising. I will never be using MyDeal again, and I strongly advise others to steer clear of such a disorganised and unreliable service.”
