“We picked up our puppy on September 25, 2025.
On our way home she was coughing and sneezing. Her stomach also seemed bloated. We immediately took her to our vet where she was diagnosed with kennel cough. The vet called 2 days later with stool sample results… she had 2 types of worms. After taking meds for a week, she still had diarrhea. Another stool test revealed Giardia.
The breeder reimbursed us $100 and the site manager reimbursed us $100. Our vets bills were over $400 for a condition she should not have had.
We were told that parasites are not part of the health guarantee and that all puppies can get these. Please be aware when getting a puppy via this site.”
Barb, we’re truly sorry that Jovie’s first few days home were stressful for you. We know how disappointing it can feel to have a puppy develop symptoms so soon after pickup.
We did note that Jovie had a mild cough before travel and that she was being treated proactively under veterinary guidance. Her vet exam, deworming, and care records all met our standards, and she was cleared for pickup. Even with that, it’s not unusual for young puppies to develop mild infections or parasites—especially during the stress of travel and adjusting to a new environment. These are very common and fully treatable conditions in puppies.
That said, we took your situation seriously and provided a $200 reimbursement toward Jovie’s vet care, which we felt was the fair and appropriate response under our guarantee.

“Very happy with this sight. It was very helpful finding a puppy. Talked with several breeders which everyone was very helpful and asking our questions that we had about the process. We started to talk more and more with Jake and Millie Chupp about a Dark Golden puppy and built a very good trust and relationship over the phone and texts and pictures . A few months later when the puppies were 6 weeks old we drove down from Wisconsin and finally meet them and the puppies. At that time when we finally got to meet them and see there wonderful and beautiful place where they raised the puppies. Such a amazing experience we had. Yes we did finally make a decision on one, it's so very hard but a puppy will give you a sign that he or she is the one just like Millie said they would. “We had such a great experience. The breeder Albert was very helpful when it came to picking out a pup. We had been looking for quite a few months and specifically wanted a English cream. When a litter of puppies came up we were a little nervous to pick from a litter without knowing what they were going to look like, especially since we were the 6th pick out of 7. Everything went smoothly and we are so happy with our choice. For an additional price we opted to send our Bo to training with Ashley for 2 weeks and it was an absolute amazing experience! “What an incredible experience! Our puppy Wrigley is our first dog, and we are beyond happy with her. Wrigley has been a fantastic dog, learning to be potty trained in a week, and knows how to sit and down with minimal training!
