“Not very happy. It’s reliable but in NO WAY cheap. At almost .50c a minute it’s a little ridiculous.”

Hi you are calling to South Africa here is the rate to South Africa. https://www.mytello.com/en_GB/rates/cheap-calls-to-south-africa Rates are made by each country and South Africa has decided to make high rates, thats why its a more expensive then other countries. But its way much cheaper calling with mytello instead of calling directly.

“Hallo, im Großen und Ganzen akzeptabel. Nicht nachvolllziehbar ist, dass Verbundinungen ins MobilNetz in Länder wie bsw. Amerika, Singapour, Neuseeland u.v.a. weitaus günstiger sind, wie die von mir genutzte Verbindung in die 200km entfernte Schweiz!!”

Hi, die Tarife haben nicht so viel mit der Entfernung zu tun, sondern mit dem jeweiligen Staat. Der Tarif wird immer vom jeweiligen Land gemacht und ist eine Art "Zoll / Steuer" einnahme. lg Martin Bauer

“MyTello is a new service I have been using for a few months. It is a very good idea and is competitively priced. I have had some issues, though, when I was connected to a wrong number several times and more recently, with the quality of sound - both myself and the interlocutors at the other end sound very quiet, difficult to maintain a conversation. If these things can be improved, it could be my preferred option for landline international calls.”
