“Very pleased with my purchase, the delivery was good too, the iron on trons are a lot better on clothing than the stickins but the stickins are perfect for backpacks, lunch boxes etc.”

“Excellent delivery- the labels arrived the day after ordering. They were easy to iron onto the clothes and seem to have bonded well. Have not yet washed any of the clothes, but feel confident that the labels are here to stay! Would use Labelplanet again.”

“I have previously used a different label company, but was not impressed with the length of time it takes them to process orders, and the astronomical P&P for what it is they post (their customer service person was also rude to me on the phone, but that is another story!). I was really impressed with Name Labels; same product (STIKINS), free P&P and my delivery arrived the very next day. I will definitely be using you agin :)”

“Great service - the labels arrived very quickly. Stikins are a great product and do exactly what they say. Ordered Trons too - these were ok but have had a few application issues - they sometimes twist when being applied, apply themselves unevenly and do not like my little ones school trousers which I presume have some kind of easy care coating - getting them to stick was a real pain!! I have also noticed the Trons are not that keen on being laundered and if caught with the iron then shrivel up. I have used them in my little ones school vest at the neck to help him see which way to put them on when dressing and noticed they didn't like the iron when I pressed them the other day. I must say though that the Trons are so soft once applied, quite amazing, sure wouldn't cause any irritation.”

“Very fast delivery but I feel a bit disappointed with the labels themselves. After a few washes they are peeling or in some cases coming off completely. Luckily I ordered 120!”

We are very sorry to hear that you are not happy with your name labels. We've been selling Stikins since 2004 and we've found that with a very small percentage of orders (1 per 1000) the name labels will simply fail entirely (i.e. they don't slowly peel off or one or two come away from the garment - they simply all fall off when the clothing is washed). The vast majority of our customers will not experience this issue and are really happy with the performance of our name labels. We've done some research into this and we believe that certain elements combine to cause the labels to fail, although it can be any number of factors that are the reason behind this (such as soft water, non-biological washing powders, certain types of stain remover, etc), which makes it difficult to pinpoint what the source of the problem is for any one particular customer. In these cases we are more than happy to send replacement Stikins, but without being able to isolate the exact cause of what made the first batch fail, you may find that these fail in the same way. Alternatively we can replace your Stikins with Trons name transfers (which iron on rather than stick on) or we can offer you a full refund. “This is the second batch of name labels I've bought - they stick to anything (shoes, clothes, socks, book bags, wellies, etc) and survive regular trips through washing machine without coming unstuck or fading. A very easy way of ensuring my 2 boys don't loose their stuff! I will not hesitate to buy more once I've used all of these ones.”
