We're very sorry to hear your labels have fallen off in the wash. This really shouldn't happen, and we are rather mystified. Our labels have been thoroughly tested in an independent laboratory and should last 40 washes at 40 degrees. Please do contact us so we can get to the bottom of what has gone wrong for you. “Have used these before which is why I ordered more, however, these ones are not sticking for long. One wash later and I am having to look for the stickers in my washing machine or I find them stuck to other clothing. Extremely disappointed. Doubt I will reorder again”

“I had ordered these before last year and they were excellent so after ordering again this year expecting the same excellent quality I was disappointed that the labels have come off in the wash (several labels in different washes so not just a one-off).”

That's very disappointing, Katharine and also rather puzzling. Our labels have been thoroughly tested in an independent laboratory and really shouldn't come off if they are stuck to the washcare label. Sorry you haven't received the replacement for your missing label; we did send it out on 5th January, but it must have got lost in in the post. We will resend your replacement today, on Royal Mail's "Signed for" service, so we can track it if it goes astray again.

“The name labels stuck to items well to start, but as soon as they were washed they started to come off. A good 75% of them have come off in the first 7 weeks of the school year. I am completely disappointed with them and wished I hadn't wasted my money.”

“This is the second time I bought the labels. Liked the simplicity of the design, however, several have come off when washing the clothes and most of them came off when tumble drying them. So quite disappointed overall.”

“I purchased both the Stikiins and the Trons labels. The Stikins are great, but I can't say the same for the Trons labels though. Having applied them exactly as per the instructions (and some took a while depending on the fabric), they were secure and looked good, the problem is after 1 wash they came off. So now having to buy new sew in labels and start from scratch re-labelling all my daughters uniform. I would say the Stikins are worth buying but save your money with the Trons labels.”

Thank you for taking the time to leave a review, Helen. It's good to hear that you are pleased with your Stikins but we are sorry that you have experienced problems with your Trons. It does sound as though you haven't applied enough heat, even though you did take your time ironing them on. Once you've got the knack they really are very simple to apply and impossible to remove because they have melted and bonded into the fabric. We're really sorry your labels didn't arrive as quickly as you, or we, would have liked. We have fulfilled our commitment to despatch our name labels the same working day, throughout a very busy summer. First Class Royal Mail is a very reliable service but it doesn't guarantee next day delivery, and occasionally items take longer to arrive. When this happens it is very frustrating for all concerned, but we do have to allow time for the labels to arrive - very few get lost altogether. If items are needed for a specific date it is always possible to request the Special Delivery service, which does guarantee next day delivery - a phone call, or a note on your order so we can contact you, is all it takes to organise this.

“The labels arrived very quickly, which was very good indeed. However, on opening the envelope, I was quite disappointed, as I had expected the labels to be long and narrow, which I had wanted, as these labels are to be used on a Brownie sash. I am in a predicament now, as these are not the normal type of labels used on a Brownie sash. Being a charity, I cannot afford to waste the money I spent on the labels.”
