“Unfortunately I found the products to be a complete waste of money. The iron on labels did not iron on and the stick on labels didn't do the job either. I will definitely not be ordering again, nor will I be recommending them to anyone. A complete waste of £20.”

“Placed my order on 24th August and still waiting for delivery a week later, very poor delivery service to say it is supposed to be sent via First Class Post.”

We are sorry to hear that your order, placed on 25th August at 15.48, has taken longer than expected to arrive. It was despatched by first class Royal Mail on 25th August, but unfortunately it looks like your order has been held up. Royal Mail's first class service is normally very reliable, with 93% of items despatched this way arriving the next day, but the rest can take a bit longer.

We're sorry to hear you have had a problem with your name labels. We have been supplying this type of label for over 12 years with many millions of labels being ordered and used without any problems. However, every year about 3 in 1000 customers experience this kind of problem. It is caused by wash conditions and we are happy to investigate further for you; just contact us so we can help.

“I have been getting stikins for the last 5 or so years and always been very pleased with them - however this year I put them on my sons uniform and then put the uniform in the wash - every single label came off - I am extremely disappointed and emailed requesting a refund as I will have to buy different labels as these ones are clearly not fit for purpose - I have not had a reply”

“I have used these labels on several items of uniform following the exact instructions, however every time I wash the garments, the labels come off. I have followed the washing instructions as described, so this is highly annoying. I would not recommend this product, they do not do what they claim to do.”

You placed your order over the weekend so we made and despatched your name labels on Monday 22nd September. As you are in Malta it can take a number of days for your order to arrive - we allow 10 working days for delivery outside the UK, although the vast majority of orders arrive a lot more quickly than this. If your labels do not arrive by 6th October please let us know - you can email us at info@labelplanet.co.uk We send an email to confirm we have received your order and then a follow up one to let you know your labels have been made and are being posted.

We are sorry to hear that you have had problems with Trons. The labels do need to melt slightly as they are applied. By doing this they fuse with the fabric and are then virtually impossible to remove. The material they are made from is very similar to the material used commercially to make designs on T shirts. If you can peel the Trons off the garments then you need to apply more heat. We would also suggest that they are better when stuck directly onto the fabric rather than onto the garment label. Trons were tested against all the main brands of iron-on labels, washed and dried 3 times a week for 2 months. Hope this helps. All that said we do acknowledge that we need to improve our instructions and will be doing so. We are very sorry to hear that you are not happy with your name labels. We've been selling Stikins since 2004 and we've found that with a very small percentage of orders (1 per 1000) the name labels will simply fail entirely (i.e. they don't slowly peel off or one or two come away from the garment - they simply all fall off when the clothing is washed). The vast majority of our customers will not experience this issue and are really happy with the performance of our name labels. We've done some research into this and we believe that certain elements combine to cause the labels to fail, although it can be any number of factors that are the reason behind this (such as soft water, non-biological washing powders, certain types of stain remover, etc), which makes it difficult to pinpoint what the source of the problem is for any one particular customer. In these cases we are more than happy to send replacement Stikins, but without being able to isolate the exact cause of what made the first batch fail, you may find that these fail in the same way. Instead we can either replace your Stikins with Trons name transfers (which iron on rather than stick on) or we can offer you a full refund.

Really sorry to hear you haven't received your labels. We've checked our records and, because of the value of your order, they were sent out on Royal Mail's signed for service. According to their track and trace website they tried to deliver them on 3rd September but you weren't in so they left a card. We were very worried to receive your one star review, but glad that when we talked to you on the phone on 29/08/14 we found that you had actually received your labels on time - they were in fact under a pile of post in your office.
