Thanks to a self inflicted catastrophe!!! (Don't ask)! I waited for a non existent bus and passenger at Lincoln. I spoke to the operator running the help phone from 21:00hrs untill midnight! She was unfailing helpful, empathetic and totally engaged in trying to help me. It was refreshing to deal with someone so totally committed to customer service. This all happened on 27/02/24 and sadly I didn't ask her name. Can't be many Latvian operators at that time? She should be mentioned in dispatches! Many thanks from David.

This company has come a long way. Clean toilets and usb charging and fast pick up. There is a Driver called Lawrence. He picked up passengers from Gatwick to Victoria Station. This man helped with luggage. Greeted people with a smile and helpful. Most could learn from this young man. Working for national express.

Brilliant app. Easy booking, simple to navigate. Prices, times & options all in one place. Booked tickets available within the apps wallet feature. So easy to use! National Express coaches; clean, on time, helpful drivers. We wouldn't use any other service.

A lovely gent, Adam helped me switch a journey and my seats when I unfortunately got my journey out date wrong by a day. He was very helpful. Made the switch hassle free and assisted with a lovely attitude. Zoe

We (family of 5) traveled on Saturday 12th of August at 4:00 am Coach, Unique reference code ED 62 from Bristol to Cardiff. Our driver Graham was absolutely brilliant, he was kind, warm, welcoming and extremely helpful. Thank you so much for all your help Graham! We will be looking forward to travel with you again. Bear with me for a fully detailed review. I missed my journey to Leicester from Golders Green due to issues on the underground. I attempted to book my journey, but the system indicated that all seats were booked. After waiting for 2 hours to express my situation and inquire if any passengers had missed or canceled their journeys, the next bus arrived. I explained my predicament, but unfortunately, there was no availability for the next journey. The driver attentively listened to my situation, checked my previous tickets and travel history (approximately 12-15 journeys I've made over the last 2 months), and then a kind gesture occurred. An angelic moment emerged through the driver, who allowed me to board the bus. While today's experience left me frustrated and words could hardly capture my feelings, my journey with EMR trains was profoundly exasperating. Despite having email tickets (rather than physical ones), I was denied the opportunity to sit on the train. I was compelled to purchase new tickets, which eventually cost me three times the original fare. This experience reaffirms why I consistently recommend choosing National Express over EMR trains. The EMR staff's behavior was significantly lacking, and I urge fellow passengers to direct their business towards National Express, not EMR trains. I'd also like to mention that I encountered a commendable bus driver during this ordeal. Although I don't have his name, he was a disabled driver with limited arm mobility, yet he displayed exceptional skill and kindness. I applaud the exceptional customer service provided by National Express and all their drivers.

Due to train strikes, which have left me really β€œstuck”, I booked National express coach to and from my place of work. I am very pleased with the service and the comfort of the coach. The drivers have all been pleasant. Thankyou:)

This is the comment we received from you: My flight was late which meant I missed my connecting coach with yourselves. I went to your desk in Gatwick Airport where I was helped immediately and transfered to the next available coach and my journey was back on track. Both staff on desk and driver were very friendly and helpful and helped me immensely at a time when I was stressed, lost and late which was very much appreciated thank you.

Excellent telephone customer service from Darren. Great company to deal with. Not too long waiting on phone. Understood my situation and was over and above helpful. Great service in the bast buses always on time and clean and tidy. Easy to get short notice bookings.

Thank you so much to your customer service staff, in particular Azra who replied promptly to my query and amended my ticket competently. I bought my ticket prior to lockdown and was able to amend it with no problem at all. Well. On the 16th of February 2020 caught the coach 210 at 9.15 from digbeth heading towards Gatwick south terminal. When I got there I had realised that I had forgotten my mobile phone.. and started panic,as i had all all my travel documents on it. So I started ringing it but after few more times trying the driver of 210 picked the phone up and said dont worry I am coming with your phone and to wait where he had dropped us off..after 5 minutes the driver named ATIKUL RAHMAN came and gave me the phone...must appreciated. Very honest person. Thank you once again... but on my return on 21 of February gatwick south coach number 707eaving at 4.05 was a different story. The driver was very rude to start of with and very cocky. And through the trip and every stop he had a rude attitude to all customers. This driver needs to learn manners.

Many. many thanks to the National Express gentleman at London Victoria station on Saturday February 29 who lent our daughter his personal phone and contacted us on her behalf. She had just had her phone. money and bank cards stolen at a nearby Underground station. She had to travel to Derby on the 8.30 am coach on a work assignment. As a result of the official's kindness, we were able to buy her the ticket online. A refreshing example of the compassion that still exists in the world but which we rarely expect to find!
