“Nothing but praises for the gels. Tasted the products at Valley of Tears this year. It was great. Ordered the trial pack to taste all the different flavors. All except the Espresso are solid for me(not a coffee drinker). Gave them the first big test at a 10 hour Mtb race this weekend in Silver City, New Mexicoand I can honestly say they delivered. When something tastes great, you don’t dread the next gel. Went with their recommended usage and never got the dreaded empty feeling with an hour to go. Home run product. Favorite flavors are berry and passion fruit, and I generally dread both of those flavors in products.”

“LOVE the gels, but the drink mix was not great for me. The flavor of the gels is SO good that it sets the bar very high, and I did not think the drink mix tasted as good. Sort of a funny aftertaste. Went down easy though, and was a great way to add more carbs to the mix so no complaints on the performance side.”

As for the mix, it's not meant to taste as amazing as our gels, it's supposed to be palatable to get you through training sessions and races. “Been using NeverSecond for over a year and I have seen amazing gains in my speed and energy levels! They have an amazing selection of products and flavors. I enjoy the C90 for races and I train with the C30. I really have been loving their gels. My favorite flavor is fruit punch but they are all good.”

“Overall I've been very pleased with using Neversecond products over the last 4 seasons or so. Prior to that I tried other brands that are part of the high carb evolution going on but with mixed success. I've never had an issue with Neversecond in terms of stomach distress, cramping, and can't remember a time that I've even bonked in a race while using it.”

“These are the best gels I have taken in my 15 years of running. Why? simple, they provide an incredible amount of energy, act inmediatly, have delicious flavors, never over whelming, they do not upset my stomach and they can be swallowed easily. Cant ask for much more.”

“The C30 Energy Gels and High-Carb Drink Mix C90 are excellent. Easy to assimilate through my endurance training. The calculating of carbohydrate needs is simplified. Citrus flavor is great! Looking forward to trying additional flavors in my training and endurance racing. Five Stars!✌️”

“I really enjoy the product but one of the pouches opened during shipping so it was pretty sticky but otherwise I received it pretty quickly and would totally recommend it.”

“First time using and had trouble with the tear off tops on 2 of the 5 gels I took for a long run. Very frustrating and had to stop mess with the top because no fluid would come out. Not something I would want to mess around with during a race.”

Sorry you are having trouble Nicholas. It is important to tear across the package, and not upward. It sounds like you are tearing upward and not where the aperture is. If you tear across the package, it will work. Have a nice day!

Hi Heidi! Thank you for taking the time to write this message. We're glad our products goes down easily and easy on the gun. With the gel consistency it can be very sticky since our gels are more liquid and usually have less of a gel-like consistency. For opening, we are in the process of making it more easier to open still but you could always cut a very small bit off or try opening it in a fast motion straight across to make it easier to use during your runs.
