“I travelled out to Malaga last Thursday the 29th of August, a party of 16 for my nieces hen party. I reached out to Laura and Carly to check if we were able to reserve a table for our group. When we arrived we discovered a family had taken our table and disposed of all of the lovely banners and back drops that Carly had arranged for us. When we approached the group they denied they had done this. We later discovered from CCTV they had indeed destroyed the table and thrown the reserve sign on the floor. Despite the airport being extremely busy Carly found us another table in the Aster & Thyme restaurant and even managed to decorate the table for us. Fantastic service under a lot of pressure.

“1 year on from my last review and another visit to Newcastle airport. The new security scanners have been installed and more staff seem to be standing around, however it took allot longer to get through security with bags having to go through the scanners 2 and 3 times. The bar has eventually had a make over at the expense of the customers and pints have gone from £7.30 last year to £7.90 this year.”
“Parking needs clarifying as to prices for different areas. Sound system in airport is inaudible except when calling specific people. Good arrivals and baggage handling.”
“Border guards are a bunch of arrogant twats they should be on dinghy duty in the channel than representing Newcastle airport shouting at elderly customers who are not familiar with egates.I recommend they take some customer service training.”
“Flew from this airport on the night of Thursday 22nd of June 23. There was not a lot of people about. Had no problems with check in security but was not impressed at all once heading into the departure lounge.
Went into Bar 11 and it was almost deserted and the smell was probably the reason why. It stunk and smelled dirty. We turned around and walked out.
Went to the Beer bar and found that slightly better but not much better. Areas cordoned off by tables and chairs. Previous customers rubbish on just about every table. Just a dirty feel to the place.
When called to the gate I used the male toilet en route. It was disgusting. Urine all over the floor, again the place stunk.
I always thought your holiday begins at the airport, well this wasn’t a very good start to our holiday. Needs to up its game.

“I do like this airport as it's small, you don't generally have to get there three hours earlier because it's quick to get through security. What let's it down is that the shops are limited and the flights tend to cost a lot more than down south because there are only one or two airlines going to that place. Also the food is really expensive and terrible quality”
