“We have recently returned from a holiday to India with Newmarket. It was a lovely holiday which was sadly spoilt on the last day. The itinerary Newmarket sent to the entire group stated on the last day we would have an evening meal at a hotel, a room to freshen up before travelling to Delhi airport. We had booked a 5am safari for that day only to discover the itinerary had incorrect information on, and there was no evening meal or hotel stop. We were up for 21 hours which took its toll on my health.
We contacted Newmarket who were apologetic and advised it was an error, but were very limited in their recompense. We have lost confidence in booking future holidays with them, because it did spoil the end of a good trip. We would definitely advise checking with Newmarket Holidays that their final itinerary is correct!”
“Reasonably well organised, with knowledgable tour guides.
HOWEVER - the specific itinerary with times was only given to us when we were on our first trip. You need to give this before we leave so we may plan food and toilet timings.
TOILET - telling us ONLY to use the bus if in an emergency is unacceptable.
TIPS - absolutely disgusting!!! To give all passengers a piece of paper telling us how much to give eg €50 per couple is outrageous. This equates to over 20k if this trip is done for 6 months.”
