Not really happy with the service. This was out for delivery since 0645am on Friday then brought back to the depot same day at 5pm. I hope it is delivered today!

Following my previous attempt to call, I followed up this evening again as you requested however you did not answer my call. To recap: Firstly, I would like to thank for your order through Oh Goodie. We are a small business, and we so value every customer and their support. You placed your order at 4:24pm on the 10th May. At this time, we had notices all over our site to let you know that the cut off time for guaranteed delivery before Mother’s Day had expired but that we would do all we could to have your gift out as soon as possible to give it the best chance for delivery. You had requested that we contact you before delivery, I personally called you to let you know that the courier would not call on the day so we were calling ahead of time. I did let you know that there were possible delays due to the flood weather in Auckland as well as increased demand due to Mother’s Day but that most of our gifts were being delivered on time. The gift was out with the courier on the 12th May. I am unsure why it was not delivered at this time but I can only imagine that they were overloaded with the volume and ran out of time. Your gift was delivered today. Again, we are a small business, and we value every customer, equally every review has big impact on our business. I would have liked to find out how we could have improved to have received a review higher than a 1*.

Very disappointed with the quality of the chocolates, the size of the Prosecco and the soup was all underwhelming and to be honest for the money I feel ripped off.

Thank you for taking the time to speak with me over the phone. I was sorry to receive this feedback but glad that we managed to connect and talk through the gift and its contents. Ultimately I am so pleased that we were able to resolve the concerns raised and appreciate the time that you took to talk to me.

Very dissapointed as parcel was not delivered until 16/3 , was meant to be delivered on 10/3 , a 95th birthday present for my father in NZ. He has dementia and it would have been nice if the gift was delivered on 10/3 as promised. Wont use again.

Hi Leanne, I am sorry for your review. We are a small business; every customer is important to us and as such every review equally has an impact on our business. We are always here to help and would have been happy to assist if we had known that there were concerns with delivery. As mentioned over email, I see the order was placed at 10:03pm NZT on the 8th March. You selected economy delivery, which states at shipping that it takes 2-3 business days for delivery. The gift was sent out on Thursday the 9th March. Due to the weekend, your gift was delivered on Monday the 13th March which was within the economy delivery timeframe mentioned at shipping. I see you mention that the gift was delivered on the 16th March however as you can see in the tracking here that it was delivered at 9:40am on the 13th and signed for by Anthony at reception. Based on your feedback it would appear that those at reception where your father is staying did not give him the gift until the 16th March which of course is beyond our control. We honestly do all we can to get our gifts sent out as soon as we can to ensure delivery is as prompt as possible. I do hope that this provides a bit more information but if you have any further concerns please do get in touch.

I don't know how to rate this because it was ordered on the 8th of March, is still sitting at the couriers, and has not even gone out for delivery yet. Today is the 13th of March your website state it would be delivered in 2-3 days. so far it has been 5 days it was for my mother's birthday, which has now been and gone and now she thinks I have not sent her anything.

I see that your gift is currently out for delivery which is the 3rd working day as stipulated. I am sorry we were unable to resolve your unhappiness with the delivery. Tracking number allocated on the 14th and it hasn’t moved since. Maybe it’s sitting in the warehouse still…who knows!

I would like to apologize for the miscommunication or lack thereof as well as the upset that this caused. As mentioned in my email communication to you, in certain instances we provide a complimentary upgrade of same-day delivery when we have been made aware of possible delays through the overnight courier. When doing so an email is sent to customers to explain the process and inform them of the courier change. Unfortunately, it would appear that a truly honest human mistake was made by a still fairly new team member, which resulted in you not receiving this email, and for this, I am certainly very sorry. As mentioned in my email, I can confirm that your was delivered on the requested delivery date. We value your purchase through Oh Goodie and the feedback you have provided. This has highlighted a process error that we have worked to resolve and eliminate from happening again. A gesture of apology in way of a partial refund was processed earlier in the week, I trust that this has been received.
