“The jerky was insanely hard to chew, had little to no flavour I was pretty disappointed considering I’ve seen the hype around this, I had maybe one or two good pieces on both of my packets but the rest was just unenjoyable as I said they were rock hard”
“I have never been a big eater of jerky, but I decided to giver it a go and got the sample pack. The different flavours were amazing. The extra dry jerky really did gradually release the flavours. Will certainly look at Original Beef Chief next time I want to go for some jerky. Great product.”

“The Reaper was of the heat that I expected which was great. The texture was a little drier than I make but that is probably required for commercial standards. Packaging was classy. My only big issue is that this 100% grass fed beef is dosed with flavour enhancer 621 (MSG). 7th ingredient from the end so a fair wack of it. Would like it without.”
“I got a tester pack, which seemed like such a generous offer, just pay postage. Beef Jerky was good, yummy flavours, I particularly liked the cajun and bbq chilli. I can't complain too much because I don't think it is Beef Chief's fault but just to make people aware, I had to pay an additional $3.50 to Australia post, which doesn't sound too horrendous but I guess paying $5.50 for a few tasting samples was just more than I originally intended, Aus post said to take it up with sender for reimbursement if I had a problem with it, but I don't think it's worth it when I don't think it was necessarily beef chief's fault.”
“The Smokey gunpowder is probably the tastiest beef jerky I’ve ever had! As soon as it hits your tongue the flavour spreads through your mouth and it’s awesome.”
“It was rock hard and therefore hard to chew. It had texture similar to plastic. Some of the worst jerky I have ever tasted. Absolutely terrible and not a snack to enjoy.”
