“I understand that hard, chewy jerky is a beef chief style. But I would say that it's hard to the point where it's no longer enjoyable and the flavours aren't as fleshed out as they should be.
It's still quality, but not particularly enjoyable”
“Absolutely loved the texture of the jerky, it was the tough dry chew that we had been looking for in jerky. We just found that the jerky lacked flavour unfortunately. We tried salt and vinegar, honey soy drizzle and bourbon bbq among others and they were by far the least flavoured unfortunately. Chilli lime definitely had the most flavour and therefore the most enjoyable.”
“A bit to dry and cuts are bit to thick. Also honey soy and bourbon flavour ones didn't really have that kick in the flavour side but over all not bad.”

“I was very excited when I placed my order for Beef Chief Smokey BBQ (heat level 1), Ragin' Cajun (level 3) and Chargrilled Chilli BBQ (level 5) Jerky. As a lover of both good jerky and firey chilli, I had looked forward to receiving the order. Well me, my son, and my 9-year-old grandaughter, have just sat down together to sample them, and we were all a bit disappointed. We all agreed that the Smokey BBQ was tasteless, and the Chargrilled Chilli was far from the level of heat intensity that we were expecting (Grandaughters comment "That's not spicey"). We all liked the texture, and the Ragin' Cajun has a wonderful flavour, but overall they fell well short of our expectations unfortunately”
“Got the raging Cajun which was great plenty of flavour and also the creeping reaper which in my opinion lacked conviction and the punch associated with the Carolina reaper had a hit but not what I was hoping for .”
