“At time of registration they took 4 months to investigate my back ground. Orka works asked me all sorts of docs from HMRC & DWP to make sure I was genuine. Unfortunately when I started applying for jobs I realised that their service is so pathetic. I wonder how they are surviving with minimum amount of jobs being given away to candidates. Request for bookings don’t get decided until last day. In fact in certain cases my 3 weeks bookings vanished from calendar altogether as if they never existed. How pathetic is that. I received a message yesterday that ownership has changed so service will improve which I bought.
I don’t want anyone to rely on them as they will make you wait for all your booking requests and they end up on vanishing from calendar without a reason.”

You are not allowed to complain about anything and if You do Your account get suspended by the head of operations called Mr. Mark which is the most incompetent person in his job role. He is in fact the one to spoil Orka works reputation for being a bad company.”

- When jobs are posted on the main menu, there should be a posting date put infront and time so you know that jobs are new or old! It is very annoying to go every time through all jobs again and again to find out which are new and which are old! Just waste of time!
- I can not update my bank details because my mobile number is completely wrong written which I have never used before! When I typ in my right number, it says the number has been already taken by someone else! THIS STRANGE! Please, can you fix this problem for me too?
- All notifications should be removed after they have been selected to keep the Orca Works app working simple
- Reply time is most of the time is over than 2 hours and some time it takes more than 1 day to get reply!
- Your questions are not properly read and replied by various team members! Especially the issues you have, are regulary ignored and unsolved!
- Job description not fully mentioned (driving license for Mount Farm, HS2) I went and was sent backhome and they cancelled my shifts and I had to cancell my shifts too and got 3rd strike which I requested already week ago but not removed!
- There is no phone number to communicate if you have issues to contact Orca Works.

I'm sorry to hear you're disappointed with the structure of paydays. We do try and make it as clear as possible at every stage of the process with the app.
We have a monthly payday, to fall in line with the vast majority of our security company partners. This is always at the start of the month following the date of the shift being worked. Of course, we don't charge for you to access your earnings in this manner.
If you really need to access some of your earnings before payday, you can do so through a feature on our app called Instant Pay which allows you to access your earnings as soon as straight after a shift has finished - but we have to borrow the money from our bank to do this (as we haven't even been paid by the security company yet) so we pass on that small admin fee to you.
