“Chose to go with Petal Garden for the first time to setup my hotel room for my anniversary. Overall, I was very pleased with the quality and experience. Two things that were a small issue, but not the end of the world. The odor the roses omit eventhough the paperwork inside the shipping box tells you about it is a little harsh. It does goes away after the roses are spread out. The other issues I encountered was the candle lights. I may have misread or misunderstood exactly what was in the box, but I thought the candles were LED electric. I had to buy LED electric candles separately because lighting candles near roses in a hotel room could go very bad. Ultimately, I endedup using about 4 of them on hard surfaces where the chances of igniting something in the room for slim to none. My wife enjoyed the set up as did I, so thank you very much for the product and the experience.”

Bobby, Thank you so much for the valuable feedback! We have transitioned our red petals to using pre-dyed red fabric instead of custom coloring, so they should not have an odor, although the bag when you open it does smell a little like plastic from the FedEx packaging. Regarding the tealights, we do have both real candles and LED, there are separate listing for both. We can look to change the listings to multi-select options so you can choose both the quantity and candle type separately. Thanks again for the advice! Brian

“This was exactly what I was looking for and your site made it easy to find the color and product that was closest match to our other wedding floral. Petals arrived in perfect shape and looked beautiful down the aisle. I was thrilled to have a biodegradable product too! Don’t hesitate to order!!”

“After much research, I landed at Petal Garden to provide freeze-dried rose petals for a surprise proposal. Tiffany in Customer Service went above and beyond in monitoring our order to make sure it arrived to its final destination in Canada. We encountered a few glitches along the way with Customs but Tiffany was on it and helped to clear the package for an on-time arrival. In addition to the rose petals, I ordered 36 LED tea light candles which added tremendously to the proposal set-up. The couple was thrilled!”

I'm sorry to hear they did not arrive for when you needed them. I saw you ordered after 8pm on 6/23 and listed 6/24 as your event date, which was not possible to meet. We tried contacting you first thing in the morning, but didn't hear back, so we shipped in hopes you didn't really need them until the weekend.

“I was impressed by the quality of the rose petals, however I was extremely disappointed in the misleading product description. I purchased “5 cups” which should have been more than enough for our hotel room on engagement night. There was only enough roses for a heart on the bed and very light floor coverage. The hotel management thought it was quite odd as well.”

I’m glad to hear you are impressed with the quality! Regarding the quantity, the 5 cup size is the smallest we carry and is only recommended for small flower girl baskets. I reviewed our descriptions and did not find anything incorrect in our listing, but if you can point me to where you were confused, I can certainly clarify the description. The 10 cup size is the smallest we recommend for romantic decorations and making a heart on a bed, so it’s impressive you made it work with only 5 cups. In fact, this same weekend one of our customers used 100 cups of our rose petals for a hotel engagement surprise! Thanks for sharing the photos, it did turn our great!
