“You get what you pay for. I bought 3,300 petals in Crimson, Eggplant, and Black. There's a bunch of little strings that pull off because the edges of the petals aren't sealed after they're cut. DO NOT machine wash. If you decide to wash them, handwash only, or they will fall apart. I washed a sample in my sink to make sure the color wouldn't bleed and it was fine. I wash3d the rest in my machine and a lot of the strings fell out and the petals lost their shape. The petals are not fireproof, but you can use that to your advantage and use heat/flame to "seal" the petals into their shape. Make sure to have lots of water nearby to protect yourself and your petals from burning up. This might be a me problem, but 1,000 petals is a lot less than I expected. In the image I attached, theres about 3,000 petals in the box”

“Chose to go with Petal Garden for the first time to setup my hotel room for my anniversary. Overall, I was very pleased with the quality and experience. Two things that were a small issue, but not the end of the world. The odor the roses omit eventhough the paperwork inside the shipping box tells you about it is a little harsh. It does goes away after the roses are spread out. The other issues I encountered was the candle lights. I may have misread or misunderstood exactly what was in the box, but I thought the candles were LED electric. I had to buy LED electric candles separately because lighting candles near roses in a hotel room could go very bad. Ultimately, I endedup using about 4 of them on hard surfaces where the chances of igniting something in the room for slim to none. My wife enjoyed the set up as did I, so thank you very much for the product and the experience.”

Bobby, Thank you so much for the valuable feedback! We have transitioned our red petals to using pre-dyed red fabric instead of custom coloring, so they should not have an odor, although the bag when you open it does smell a little like plastic from the FedEx packaging. Regarding the tealights, we do have both real candles and LED, there are separate listing for both. We can look to change the listings to multi-select options so you can choose both the quantity and candle type separately. Thanks again for the advice! Brian

“I'm using the petals in place of flowers to sprinkle at my mom's funeral. She was cremated and the tradition of placing a flower from each attendee on the casket, since it's a small vault, would be too much. I thought sprinkling the petals would give a nice send off. I ordered 30 cups thinking it would be the right amount, but was surprised at how little 30 cups actually is when I opened the package. The petals are beautiful and I'm sure she would be pleased.”

“The petals are beautiful as are the candles. But the petals give off a terrible smell. I am glad that I got them earlier as to put some smell scents to covers this Body odor smell the bag they were in.”

So sorry to hear they had the odor from the color dye. For all of our Red Romance Packages with candles, we have them fully aired out here and even have a rose scent available. I saw you used the "select your own color" option and used our Grape silk rose petals. The darker colors from some of our older batches can still have an odor from the dye and may need to be aired out, glad to hear you were able to do that.

“for fake petals they are pretty good. thicker which makes it look more real compared to other fake petals. The ivory looks a little more yellow in person when they are bunched together but more white when separated”

“Fun was had until we smelled straight fish and thought one of us had something. Took us a solid 10 minutes to realize it was the petals that smelt like they came straight out of the ocean.”

“The navy blue was a very nice dark tone. I worried it would be faded or just not dark enough. If only they provided more petals for the price. Our flower girl may run out of petals before she’s done walking down the aisle with 2 bags of petals.”

“The color of the petals were great but the only thing is that the smell of them were awful! Had to air them outside in the box overnight and when that didn’t work I sealed the box with a container of fabric softener beads in it and that helped a lot”

I saw your sample was ordered June 12th and delivered 8 days later, on June 20th, just after the long holiday weekend. If you are referring to placing a full order, if it's placed more than 3 weeks in advance, we hold it to ship closer for the best quality. If you need it in less than 3 weeks, we ship right away and nearly all orders are delivered in less than a week, even overnight if you need it.

“The flowers themselves were beautiful!! I was just underwhelmed with how much was in a cup. I thought it would be packed in a cup but each cup has a lot of air space. I just thought there would be more petals especially for the price. However I do know that they were taken care of an specially dyed which is super appreciated. Again. I just thought their would be more. I’m having to tell the flower girls to go sparingly on the petals down the aisle.”

“The pedals are awesome thank you we only had one problem and that was with the shipping. We received everything on time eventually but there was a conflicting email that worried us. Received an email stating that the pedals would be arriving just before our wedding. They arrived the next day however. We were most grateful otherwise everything was great”

“The petals arrived in perfect condition, and There was plenty of instructions on how to care for them. I only have 4 stars because I was trying to soften them up a bit because they were being used by a flower girl, and I couldn't get them to soften. So not major problem, just would have liked them to be soft.”
