“Flowers came in very fast, my only complaint and this doesn't have to do with the business but the mailing. They left my box out in the sun and didn't put them in the shade. My pedals dried up, I did put them in water to rehydrate them and it worked out. I would say probably put a label saying do no leave in direct sunlight.”

Thank you for your feedback. Here’s the thing, our Freeze Dried Rose Petals look so good that the “Dried” part is often overlooked. It’s great to hear they arrived dried, because that’s exactly how they should be. Fresh petals would never last for months like our freeze dried petals can, so that’s how our rose petals can be ordered and stored well in advance of your event. In fact, the box can be left in the hot sun all day without any problem. We do have a sticker on the outside of every box that states “Store in the shipping box in a dark, dry location” and it references the detailed care instructions we include inside the box, including how to soften them. Glad to hear you got it all worked out in the end.

“I was under the impression I would be getting 4 cups of petals but it looked more like 2 cups. While they were pretty, they had a very strange and unappealing smell to them.”

I checked on your sample order and it was shipped in 6x6x4, which can hold up to 10 cups, is this the size box you received? Regarding the smell, I saw you ordered our Blacklight rose petals in your sample. Since they are dyed, they can have the smell from the dye when you first open the sealed bag, but it quickly dissipates.

“They sent the wrong color. They sent light blue when I ordered teal. I'm just glad my son is ok with light blue candy bags.”

I am sorry the color was not what you expected. Our last batch of Teal had less of a green shade than previous batches, so we renamed it Aqua as the blue tends to be more pronounced. Glad to hear you could still use them. Our Teal will be available again in the fall.

“I ordered some petals for a wedding and selected the recommended shipping time provided by Petal Garden based on the event date. The flowers showed up AFTER the wedding. The company had me return the petals (by refusing delivery) and provided a full refund, which was great, but we needed these for an event and had to scramble to find an alternative. The company made it seem like they were doing me a favor by allowing me to return them, in my opinion, they should have been more willing to make this right instead of me having to convince them to do the right thing.”

Our lowest cost shipping option "Based on Event Date, 9+ days" does come up as a default, but we recommend selecting a shipping option faster than 9+ days when you're within a week of your wedding. Our "Express 2-4 days" or any FedEx/UPS air options are available at checkout for reliable and fast shipping when you need delivery in less than a week.

“It's nice they send out free samples to get the colors you want. Quick shipping. A little high for shipping though. Also, the mint does not match the picture on their website. Make sure you do the free sample to get the color you want- I'm still looking for our color!”

“10 cups of petals is not at much as you might think. And the pictures are misleading, I was expecting smaller petals for the 10 cups. But good quality of petals and very pretty colors.”

Thank you for your feedback. We are in the process of adding photos of each of our freeze dried colors alongside a quarter and a ruler so you can get a perspective on how large our rose petals are. The larger the petals, the fewer that fit in the 10 cup package, but the area they cover is the same.
