“We ordered from Petalina and our doll arrived promptly and as described. Our daughter has not shown an interest in the doll but that is no fault of the company. It was easy to order and we have no complaints about the service. If our daughter decides she likes her new doll we would not hesitate to buy other products from here.”

Thank you for taking the time to write us a review despite your disappointment. It is a shame but I suppose we can't decide if a little girl is going to like dolls or not. I hope you looked at our buying advice on the website for best dolls for certain ages etc. Looking at your order that doll is very popular and I definitely would have recommended her for a first doll. Thanks very much for your feedback about the carry cot and we are sorry that you think £13.99 is expensive. We believe it is a good price for a very pretty and well made carry cot compared to a very similar one in the same size from another brand which sells at £32.99. At Petalina we only carry well made products that have been beautifully designed which allows our customers to be able to purchase something a little bit different that they know is good quality, and we also set all our prices as competitively as we can. “Fast delivery of a beautiful doll. Wrapped and packaged well. Would have been 5 stars but package arrived a day earlier than scheduled delivery, unexpectedly, (normally a good thing I'm sure), but with a Petalina dolls sticker on the outside of the box. Could have easily spoiled the Christmas surprise but for some swift diversionary tactics!”

Thank you for your review of Petalina. We are sorry that you had to act swiftly to avoid ruining the surprise. We aim to dispatch orders as quickly as possible, and I can see from your order that it did indeed leave us within 24hours, which is normally a good thing. We also use a very efficient courier who should have text or emailed you a time slot for your parcel so it can be expected. We have a comments box when you place an order which can be used for comments such as, 'please send in an unmarked box', or 'please do not send until ...'. But we are glad you loved the doll, and appreciate feedback like this as we are always looking at ways to improve our service. Kind Regards Cate

Thank you very much for your review and for your comments. It's good to hear that your are pleased with the dolls and the service. I agree that postage to Ireland is expensive. This really frustrates me as it isn't as if you are very far away! For Northern Ireland we used to use First Class Post for larger parcels but Royal Mail's review of prices a couple of years ago ended that, so now we have to use our courier for larger parcels all across Ireland and they are expensive for us to use so we just pass the cost. In time. as Petalina grows, we should achieve better and better pricing which would bring our charges down. Thanks again, Cate

“Website easy to use and my order came very quickly indeed. I bought the Kathe Kruse Mini Minouche Carry Bed for the Corolle Mon Premiere Calin Maria doll for my granddaughter. It is nicely made and will suit the purpose well although I think it is rather expensive for what it is.”

“Very good site, doll was delivered quickly and was updated about the process every step of the way. That said, the Bonnie and Pearly doll I ordered has the most horrible hair that sheds and tangles so much, after only a few hours play I doubt it will last six months - complete waste of £80!”
