“I ordered at 10:46 on Thursday the confirmation email came through at 10:49. I paid for Next Day Delivery. The cut off time for next day was 11am. Items were despatched on Friday, not delivered until Monday and no reason given, no apology, no refund for the additional postage I paid for. A very unhappy 2 year old who didn't receive the gift she was promised on Sunday. Disappointing service.”

Hello Ruth, once again please accept our apologies for failing to get your order out on Thursday, as now, having spoken to you on the phone, I realise how important that gift was!! I have refunded the next day shipping charge as promised and put a discount for next time in your account. I have taken the issue up with the warehouse to find out why they didn't dispatch your order on the day they received it, because by doing so, they have let both of us down, and receiving your review was the first we knew of the problem. I appreciate you were going to call but you were somewhat busy, but had you been able to we would have rectified the matter immediately. Thanks again for bringing this to our attention, and congratulations on your new addition to the family! Cate

“i sat with my grand daughter for hours looking through your dolls, and every doll that she chose and wanted for christmas was out of stock!! ,we went through the whole of your collections, and all your cats and dolls one by one were unavailable, and at this time of the year,its appauling and, tottaly unacceptable,as a regular customer i am very dissapointed,and it has put me off from shopping from you again.we chose valentina at the end,because there was nothing else worth looking at or buying,all these dolls have been out of stock for a long time now, as i regularly check your website,and iam afraid not unless you bring them back in stock,i wont be shopping from you again,as i have found a website which has them in stock,”

Hello there, I agree it's a shame that the Kidz 'n' Cats dolls haven't been available all year. The makers kept promising that they would arrive but they just didn't. We ordered in February and the first delivery came in September and all of them were found to be faulty due to the appalling condition of the wigs. Once this problem was discovered we made the decision not to sell them and they have all now been returned to the suppliers. We made this clear on the website on both blog posts and on the Kidz 'n' Cats page header because so many people were wanting them and I felt that leaving them on the website would be more informative than taking them off. Next year we are assured that we will receive supplies very early on which will be back to their usual quality. The issue was with the hair which is very very poor. Please be warned before purchasing from other suppliers that ALL of the 2016 collection are affected but you may be able to find some from previous collections that are OK. We have also decided not to carry any more of the Maru and Friends collection due to the ridiculous pricing thanks to the exchange rate. You were lucky to get Valentina as she is a very special doll. I can only assume, this being your third order, that you have been happy with the service provided by Petalina. Please don't blame us for manufacturer disasters. We are also here to help and could have easily given you this information by email or phone if you had asked. Thanks again for your order, and have a lovely Christmas.

“The Corolle baby dolls are pretty and cuddly but my 2 three year old granddaughters find them heavy to carry around for long though they enjoy sitting them up for tea parties and putting them to bed. I am disappointed with the small choice of clothes to fit them. The Christmas outfit vest doesn't do up at all and most of the other clothes are too difficult for little people to dress and undress the dolls themselves - which is one of the reasons to give them dolls, isn't it? A clearer indication of which clothes actually fit these dolls specifically and which don't would have been helpful. Having ordered the dolls I was getting confused about what clothes would be suitable and have a few outfits, now unwrapped, which don't fit! Overall, lovely dolls but please more and specific clothes and ones that can be easily put on and taken off.”

Hello Susan, you chose the perfect Corolle dolls for sitting up and going to bed, and as your granddaughters grow up they will be easier to carry around, and because they have hair, they will last them for a few years yet. I'm sorry we didn't have many clothes this Christmas for Corolle dolls. It's certainly easier buying the same brand clothes for a guaranteed fit, but we just haven't been able to obtain a good range of them at all. I've been very frustrated about this too because they are such beautifully designed high quality products! However, we have just heard that the supply chain is changing for 2016 which will mean we can once again offer a really good range of Corolle dolls, dolls clothes and accessories and probably at better prices. And please don't feel confused in the future. Get in touch and we will help you find the right things. Also, with our returns policy, you can return anything to us that doesn't fit for an exchange or a refund. Thanks again, Cate
