The sales staff in Kirkcaldy are very personable and helpful and this is in no way a criticism of any individual. Overall I am pleased with the vehicle, an Insignia Eco 2.0 tdi however, immediately after I had taken delivery I discovered that the stop-start was not functioning, the oil had only 29% life remaining, the tyre pressures were all over the place and the hill start braking did not appear to be working correctly. I returned the car immediately, voicing my concern that a car that had allegedly been serviced prior to release should have such issues. they could find no fault with the stop-start, except that it clearly works intermittently only after being put on the computer test facility, and then only a couple of times before stopping all together. I was given a long diatribe on the vagaries of the stop-start system by the service manager, himself a very pleasant and clearly hardworking man, however, as a very experienced electronics and mechanical engineer I believe that if something is sold as "stop-start" it should function in a regular manner given the correct inputs and not at random according to a set of rules which appear to obey the signs of the Zodiac and "whether it feels like it or not". It is still not working, I have volunteered to pay for a new battery if changing it did not resolve the issue but this was rejected ("Nothing wrong with the battery"). I have been promised an extended warranty to allay my concerns over the potential reliability of this vehicle. This is supposedly in the hands of head office but I have heard nothing a week later. The intermittent hill-start hold has not been resolved to my satisfaction. The car itself is a joy to drive , very comfortable and, to my mind, looks really good, otherwise I would have returned it by now. The above issues are not show-stoppers but are very disappointing

I went to the show room just to have a look around and came away with a car which I am happy with the salesman Ben Cairn was very helpful

Every one was so helpful through every part of the sale, I still have to get a number plate change done which I have been told will not be a problem, as soon as I get my documentation through from DVLA, to bring the car in, it wont take long to change the [plates (private number}, If that all goes smoothly looking forward to my association with Peter Vardy!

Very happy with choice on display. Given plenty time to look round and decide what we liked.. sales person covered everything involved. Went for a test drive and then given more time to have a talk. It's a big expense so you have to be happy. We were given 1st class service.

My husband and I are very pleased with the service we received from Chris. He was very friendly and put us at ease whilst explaining all steps of the process very clearly. As we have a new baby, we were keen to purchase our new car as soon as possible and he did everything in his power to allow us to pick it up the following day. We are very grateful for this.

Myself and my partner placed order on a vw golf on the Saturday, when we placed £100 deposit on the car, we then returned to the dealership on he Monday to sign paper work for the finance and was told everything was fine and that we would be able to collect the car Wednesday. The following day we were called to say that we had to go over again to sign additional paper work due to having to take out additional finance agreement with another provider due to having negitve equity on our Astra which we purchased from Peter vardy kirkcaldy on 28th January 2017. And we're giving scrapeage value of £2000 on this sale. We finally got the car on Thursday. But unfortunately we have had to return to the garage as the car has not been Valeted properly and there is paint missing from the bonnet which we did not see at time of collection as it was raining. We are also being charged for a courtesy car even though we are having to return the car to be checked over due to a handbreak issue. Feel this is a disgrace as we have had the car less than 14 days and there is a mechanical issue

As my husband and I walked into the show room we were approached by a young gentleman very friendly very polite I told him what make of car I wanted and from then it was all go, and we were very happy with our brand new car before the end of the week we were driving it home to show it to its new family, I love it always wanted one now I have it very happy, I had dealt with this company before years ago and yet again first class service , they can't do enough to make you welcome and see to all your needs.

I would recommend Peter Vardy to anyone as the manager. salesman and staff, cannot do enough to ensure that their customers are completely satisfied. I would not hesitate to buy another car from this company.
