Was very disappointed with the poor quality of the paint job done on car this has now been resolved also extremely disappointed that i drove the car 70 miles when the low engine oil light came on the car took a full litre of oil to get it to its correct level which could of damaged the engine also checked tyre pressures the following day after receiving car and the back n.s. Only had 18 psi in it certainly wouldn't recommend Vardy for mechanical work

Had car 1 hour and engine management light came on few days later the cars recalled so after the excitement of geting a BMW series 1 I was shortly disappointed and felt like I shouldnt have even gone for the car. It Ruined my new car experience and has put me off this vechile and I have decided to go into store tomorrow and change the vehicle staff have appeared to be helpful with information regardinf the recall although I am still disappointed in the experience

Whole experience spoiled car very good everything expected, saleswoman did not explain finance properly only explained half details,made decision to buy based on info given ,had I known full facts would never have gone ahead with deal would have kept own vehicle longer ,was quite upset when received full details from finance company didn't realise until then was four years monthly payment then final payment,conveniently sales person failed to mention final payment only mentioned 48monthly payments ,and forgot to give me copy of agreement, I wrongly assumed after 48payments car was mine as only finance deal I have had was HP ,felt I had been tricked somehow feel saleswoman only cared about making sale and not me as a person had bought previous car from PeterVardy, and had opposite experience salesman treated me much better took time to explain everything to me in plain simple terms,

the experience has been awful as salesman sold us a petrol car when we asked for diesel salesman who stepped into help us out this situation has been very helful

The young sales man was very good and attentive, how ever three phone calls were made ( and promised to return) to ascertain if the car was ready were never returned by sales manager. The service booklet and owners handbook are missing, we travelled back to Aberdeen showroom and have spoken to the manager and he assures us that he has got it in hand, however when getting a different model it is always nice to see what the different functions are, I thought that booklets should have been on hand.

Bought car about 7 weeks ago sd card had been removed and was not told about it also told the car was all good and it's not been back 3 times and still waiting for the problems to been seen to so not happy

The last time (may14) I purchased a car from Peter Vardy, it was a far smoother transaction. Lots and lots of phone calls and visiting the store a second time was rather inconvenient. The first time I visited the store, we were there 4 hours. When I collected the car, I was surprised that I got no hamper or car care from them, I did in May 14.

It was arranged that I would collect the car at 2pm on Friday 29th April. On arrival I had to wait 30 minutes for the salesman I had been dealing with to come free. While I appreciate the situation with commission on sales etc, a 30 minute wait is not acceptable. I was told the car would have at least 11 months MOT. it has 6. I was told that if I contact you in November you will do the MOT free. Can I have this confirmed in writing. There was also an issue with the price. When we had previously agreed to purchase the car, the price on the car was £3,999.00. The Invoice that the salesman produced was for £4,499.00. We did eventually resolve this issue, but again not very professional. Alistair Nicholson

We purchased a used vehicle to which there were a few problems with, but didn't realise till after we picked the car up (to which we were told the car was serviced and checked beforehand) and bits and pieces missing from the car..aerial...parcel shelf...cars own manual!! and also rear washers not working. If it wasn't for the excellent customer service we had from Mark Howie, who went out his way a number of time delivering these items, in one case leaving his own personal vehicle at our home and taking ours back into the garage, we would have handed the car back. So I'd like to thank mark personally for all his efforts and going out his way for us and can't thank him enough..he saved Peter vardy!!!

Positives; Pleasant enough experience with the Salesman and Sales Manager. Very happy with our new vehicle. Eventually got the deal I was looking for. Negatives Had to negotiate hard to get the best deal despite being a repeat customer. Deal advertised was free gift of ipad or iwatch. Salesman didn't respond to request for either. Valet on the inside of the car wasn't up to standard expected. i.e. inner door sills were very dusty, mucky. Looked like it had been rushed during a busy period. Promised supagard treatment inside and out as part of the deal. Not 100% sure it was carried out. No proof of certificate provided.

Mileage as part of PCP plan wasn't made clear, very low compared to what actual usage will be meaning I will be left with a large payment at the end of deal. Handover of car was disappointing, no real effort made, no car mats, inside the car was dusty with some marks and finger prints.

Waited a week to pick up car when it was meant to be ready 2days later. Every time we were meant to pick it up we got a phone all delaying it. This happened twice then was told for the inconvenience we would get extra petrol. Picked car up with no extra petrol so was asked to back 2days later. 2 days later got a phone call putting us off again. All in all not a good experience with this company

1. There is an administration that nobody mentioned until I took my card out to pay. It wold have been nice to know about it before even going to see the car. 2. During delivery one of the alloys was curbed. I got it repaired later but that meant taking leave off work and losing one day in the service. 3. The wiper blades were useless and had to be replaced even though the car had just been MOTeed an that's one of the things that has to be checked. I had to replace them at my expense. 4. When the price was removed from the car, the windscreen was badly damaged. 5. The car was devered without any mats even though it was a used car. 6. After purchase, the car had been retained at the garage for 4 days, time in which I should have considered some expensive insurance.

Lack of communication from salesman prior to handover. Had to do all the contacting myself to find out important details. Although handover experience by the salesman was much better

Was not impressed with the service was not given various options available to me. The hand over was poor basic instructions and no time to look over the car. Next day noticed two black scrapes reported and told to bring the car in and they would repair was told it would be a couple of hours was there for five and when it was done it was shabby could see paint runs and finish was rough,three weeks later I am still waiting to get repaired. Communication is diabolical sell the car and forget you

Mixed views thought salesman Darren Tait was very helpful but was let down by others on the phone offering more deals than could be delivered and marketing advertising vehicles which did not exist. Was also annoyed about them taxing vehicle on the 31st March as I was not collecting until the 2nd April which meant for the sake of a few hours I lost a full month of road tax. On handover they said tax now starts from the day purchased it doesn't it starts at the beginning of the month. Only a small thing at minimal cost but annoying when you explain you want it taxed at the beginning of the month and it is ignored. Vehicle is excellent purchased at a great price so overall very pleased.
