“I recently made a purchase of a shower stool - it wasn’t the model I had previously which lasted 4 years and is now rusty- this one lasted 3 showers before the legs became extended and stretched and it wasn’t even possible to sit on the stool - the sales person never told me the weight limit of 100kg on the stool Since I exceeded that weight I didn’t return it. But I feel hard done by - the sales person should have said or pointed it out I have since purchased an alternative model”

“Disappointing. 1. Items were flat packed, had to be assembled from very poor instructions. No mention of items being flat packed on website. 2. Items placed in a over-sized outer box. Handier for courier I'm sure but zero thought as to the household they were going to. 3. Delivery abandoned on neighbouring doorstep. Rang the bell and ran. If you can't manage the courier, consider using another.”

“Delivery service takes too long no reply to email until I ask where my delivery was ordered sunday night Thursday night still waiting for delivery too slow”

“Disappointed that the item wasn’t as described size wise so I’m now left with an item I can’t use & the advice given was to return it but would cost too much to return by courier or post & can’t return in person which is why I ordered online in the first place & got no apology for it either”

“Avoid calling to shop, just go online. I needed to replace compression socks. The shop assistant insisted that I needed a prescription from my GP or consultant. My GP barely knows of my circulatory problems and my consultant discharged me in 1988. I was buying these socks myself, and I do not have a medical card... There was no budge from Phelan's shop assistant. I since then ordered socks online myself and then drove to Phelans again to pick them up... No prescription needed from GP or consultant to order online. It does not make sense to me... Maybe the shop staff need better training for the job.”
