“Playtika destroyed every good game. June’s journey was a lovely and relaxing game”

“I play their game June's Journey! In the last year they have just introduced in every way they can some way to make you have to buy with real money. I have spent before and I know lots of players who do regularly, but even though they are making a substansial profit from this game, they will not be happy till every player in the game is buying weekly or more. They take polls acting like they care, and then do the opposite of what the people want. They don't care about the players even if they try to make you think they do. I know they are a business and I expect them to make money, but pure greed without respect or care for those who use their product is different. There have been repeated reports of cheating among the top ranked teams, but because these teams spend so much money, they do nothing to stop it. Yet, I have heard of whole innocent teams being kicked out of the game because one person did something wrong, yet they refuse to stop the teams who have 15 players who cheat all the time. It makes them sound like they are doing something, except they won't touch the true offenders. Recently they have restructured something in the game called Bush gifting. They aren't fooling those of us who know why you took away our bushes that gave us diamonds in the game and now it is more like a game of chance. They are after all known as a gambling institution more than the kind of game that JJ is. JJ is a game always used for fun and relaxation, to decorate your island and find items in the scenes. Now they are taking away what teams need to be able to truly play the game the way we have played it. They want you to have to buy the diamonds. Thousands have loved this game for years and used it as a way to escape and relax. Playtika has made it a tense, stressful and chaotic game. There are still aspects of the game I love, but it is fast becoming a game I don't recognize nor like. I am sad that the game that I loved is becoming what it is. They need to listen to their players and give us back our diamond producing bushes and some of the rewards they have taken away over the last year. If they really want to help their players listen to them and fix the glitches in the game and make it where we aren't getting kicked off or having our games freeze. Just let us play our game, have fun and quit being so greedy.”

“The old song Money Money Money. Such a great game spoilt by greed. I'm a pensioner and physical buying is not an option. So when the last diamond is played out and no more energy - that's me on my bicycle. Plenty other games available.”

“Yes, I am disillusioned by the bush change recently made for the reasons many have stated so I will not reiterate. I, too, will not spend my money but more importantly I will NOT recommend June's Journey as a fun, engaging and interactive game to any of my friends or family.”

“Been with June's Journey for 5 years now. It started off as a solo game then Wooga added Clubs to it so a player had to join a Club. Then added Stuff The Board - can't get to the end to collect prize Item as the clock runs too fast in the 3rd round of that game. The you, Playtika, bought it added the STUPID MEMOIRS to it. You also RUINED the Bushes - they are different & nice looking, but that's as far as it goes. Tips are better added during Coffee Time, not part of a Bush Prize. Spend 300 -400 coins per better bushes & one doesn't get any to only a few Diamonds, MAYBE! The percentage of getting Diamonds is very LOW. Surely you can do better than this?”

“The game keeps changing and making out rewards less so if we want to continue to play we have to spend money. I’ll be leaving the game if it doesn’t change back the way it used to be.”

“I have been playing June's Journey for 3 years now, but I may have reached my breaking point. When you changed the bush system, you took away our ability to gift a second coffee each day and repliniah our energy. I refuse to spend one more dollar of real money with a company that has become nothing more than a money grab. You try every way you can to make your customers spend money, but I am stopping now. I am participating in the #Boycott tomorrow and will reevaluate if I want to continue to play after that.”

“The game (June’s Journey) has become a $ necessary to progress game. The only reason I play is to support my team. No more cash for me. Once my resources are gone, so will I be. It used to be such a great game! Too bad! The mighty dollar has this company by the horns! Whatever happened to being the greatest game with happy players.”

“Not only is Playtika making good on their promise to monetize everyone, they are making even meager prizes harder to get. It's becoming a gambling pay-to-play game and doesn't resemble the great game I started playing 4 years ago.”

“With latest change in Junes Journey the game takes more energy than it’s worth. All of the changes have also made the game unstable which also makes it frustrating to try and play. Don’t bother with the game .”

“Greedy company took over a great game and ruins it more and more. From a free fame with in-app purchases if you wish to a game that has more to do with gambling than anything else. It’s no fun anymore and resembles either a full-time job or a way to part with lots of cash just to have a little bit of accomplishment. It’s insane really how they ruined prizes, invented new minigames and then take away the main resource for energy.”

“It is unfortunate that Playtika has made so many changes in June’s Journey. Profit is an understandable motive, however the game is now in disarray. There is even a player boycott going on! The new bush system changes the very core of the game by removing a guaranteed source of currency to play the game. The games are now requiring diamonds to move ahead, the advertisements selling diamonds are relentless and annoying. The ads with the game cause my iPad to crash, freeze and many times boots me out of the game. The tech help is T competent. I suspect to remain on JJ and play competitively many will face the big question….Is JJ worth the extra $ for the needed gems?”

“At a time in history when we have been under lockdowns, lost loved ones, prices for food and most everything is on the rise, when the average person has to choose between eating and fueling their cars to go to work, this is exactly the time playtika changes the game? Don’t they realize that June’s Journey is a way in which people could, at least for a short while, leave their worries behind? Now they want to force everyone to pay for things in order to continue playing? The humane thing for playtika to do is return the bushes to their former state. Everyone feels like they have been gut punched & shin kicked at a time when they were down. Shame on playtika, and those making the decisions, for they are greedy and heartless. I will no longer play the game but will always remember those at playtika who, for as much as they talk about helping others, apparently don’t care about anyone but themselves. The proof is in the profit gained by them in 2021. I will no longer be playing and I will shout the truth about this company from the highest roof top for everyone to hear “don’t play June’s Journey” and the multiple reasons why.”
