Had an ongoing issue with blocked drains. After getting 2 other companies out, who could not resolve issue I gave this company a go after getting them recommended by my neighbour. Best thing I could have done as the problem was resolved on the 1st visit and no more smelly, blocked drains. It was absolutely brilliant having such a professional experience and has restored my faith in the maintenance trade.

Has to be one of the best plumbers around. Called them out they fixed my leak under bath, price £70+Vat. No more leaks, job done. It was as easy as that. Great company thanks for the good work.

Nothing but praise for the heating man (Paul) who got my old boiler going again. It saved me forking out alot of money at this time of year. A small part was fitted, which he had in his van. Pricing very reasonable. Will def give them a call when needed again.

Excellent work from Plumbforce Direct Ltd. Knew exactly what to do to get my heating system back up and running there and then. Very pleased with the overall experience and plan to keep their number handy if needed in the future.

Great service! Called for a toilet leak and the plumber Peter called me back, helped me shut off the water to stop the leak until he got there to repair the problem. He was thorough and very clean. Very well priced. Highly recommend.

Plumbforce fitted a new boiler with minimal disruption & speed. I’m am very pleased with this company & Andros ,their gas fitter who is very pleasant,helpful & efficient. Would recommend this company.

I have used Plumbforce Direct many times, normally there service is impeccable, unfortunately this time they where 1 hour late hence the 3 stars.

I had a bad smell in the toilet and I called them to have a look, they promptly told me someone would come and check. This is what happened: 14/9 an engineer came and 'fix' the issue replacing the 'pan connector' 4/10 we came from holidays and we found out the smell and the noises were still there 11/10 called the company and explained the situation, they set an appointment for Wednesday 13th in the morning 13/10 after midday I called them and they stated the appointment was for Thursday 14th instead (very odd to be honest, but ok) 14/10 again, no engineer came home. I called again to figure out what's going on and Scott agreed on calling me back with more information (Scott never called me back and of course no engineer came). I called him again and after some apologies a new appointment was set for Monday 18th was set between 9 and 10 in the morning 18/10 the engineer came around 12 (good start...) and after 5 minutes he said he had to call the office and he will be back in 10/15 minutes... never heard about him again... Another call to their offices asking for information and again, another promise for a call back from Scott, but nothing happened. 18/10 After calling the office again I was told Scott was on a break and he would call me back (rolf) 19/10 Another call to the office asking for solutions and for an explanation about the lack of calls back... 21/10 I complained again and a 'manager' was supposed to called me to find out a solution for my case... Michael something told me he will check and send someone first time next day (sure...) 22/10 No engineer came and I called back, the next available slot was for Monday 25th and I asked for email confirmation about the appointment and also confirming what Scott mentioned about a partial refund during the call. I sent 5 emails during that day requesting the confirmation... 25/10 midday and no one came (surprise!!!!). Another call and Scott is lying again... the engineer is on his way... and apparently was my fault as I never confirmed O_O 26/10 Of course, no one came yesterday to fix the toilet and Scott promised me again and again I would have the engineer at home as was finishing another job. Today I will call again. Let's see how this ends

Plumbsorcedirect charged us £300 for changing automatic air vent which is £15 and that didn't fix our boiler's problem. I had boiler problem with pressure drop down quite often. I called plumbforce direct and the engineer came and looked it and agreed to fix the problems with £300. We agreed. Couple of days later, the engineer came and replaced a small part called automatic air vent in 5 minutes. We checked the pipe from boiler goes to outside and there are a lot of water came out still. Engineer agreed that was main problem caused pressure down often but he will need charge extra £180. That means replace a automatic air vent cost £300 without fixed the problems for us. We negotiated to pay less, engineer called his two brothers to our house and stopped our water supply .... We tried to talk to plumbforce direct, engineer told us he owns the company. Finally he agreed to reduce the price to £200. I would like to share the experience to all the consumers to avoid this kind of trouble again, they are just not trustable.

Their plumber came to inspect the leak, turned all our water off and gave us an incredibly high estimate. We spoke with another plumber, they came the next day, turned our water back on and asked for half the price to get our water tank changed. Plumbforce direct in the meantime charged me 466£ for having done exactly nothing to fix the leak. Their plumber came twice, did nothing except turning off our water and giving us a very high quote for the full job, and that was it. I've been speaking with their customer services for a week now trying to get a partial refund at least and it's a nightmare. They keep saying the refund is coming and they'll call me back to confirm. Not once they have given me a call. I've lost count of how many times I called them to try and get a clear answer. It's going to be a week tomorrow since they told me I will see my refund. Refunds don't take this long. Nightmare of a waste of time. Stay away.

Huge difference in price between quote and actual cost to replace one tap and then it leaked after the plumbers left - leaving it to us to fix ourselves!

This is honestly the WORST service ive ever come across. They don't turn up, they don't communicate, they don't fix.

Do not use. As many other reviewers on other websites, I had the experience being scammed (over a thousand pounds of damage). Didn't have hot water for a week during which the plumber came in at least 4 times, switched parts and charged us >1k. (Later it turned out none of these parts needed to be replaced). After yet another time they said a new part needs to be bought, I called another service, everything was fixed within an hour, no parts required. Called to submit a complaint and demand a refund, but they keep referring to other people who are "not available" and promise to call back. Never once anybody called back in 2 weeks. They also kept saying that they reply with resolutions to written complaints, but that is a a lie as well. I wasn't sure at first if that is incompetence or a scam, but after reading comments, it's pretty clear it is the latter.

I booked an appointment to check my boiler as it constantly shut itself down. The "engineer" came and said I needed a new pump in my boiler, it seems most people needed a new pump if you read more reviews about this company! I was quoted £600 plus vat on the part! A quick google search, the part would costs £150 plus vat!!! If you think this is bad enough, I called another local boiler engineer recommended by a friend, he fixed the problem in 5 mins, he just needed to increase the pressure in the boiler. This company should be shut down! An OAP would probably have handed over the cash! I should have read the reviews of this horrible company first!

Plumbforce Direct‎ — www.plumbforcedirect.co.uk— Arrived 6 hours later than scheduled appointment. Didn't fix the problem, didn't clean up after themselves, asked x10 more than advertised on the website, customer service was a total ignorance. Very close to fraud. If you got into this trap, ask your bank for a refund. Changing plastic piece of pipe (£8) should not cost £700. This place needs to be constantly closed. It should be fixed priced but they told that they need to use special machine and it would cost £390 incl VAT. They lied that there is a lot of work to do maybe 40 minutes or maybe 2hours. I was alone at home with crying kid so actually I was forced to agree. I am not a plumber so I thought that for 2 hours work it normal price. They used that machine for 5 minutes maximum. After 5-7 minutes work was done. When I asked about 2hours job, they simply started to show me that water is running, that everything is ok. So I have not even see that they used it. I just heard sound for few minutes. In the evening my husband called them with complaints as he has agreed for the fixed price, not for the £390 for 5 minutes work. They were very rude and all their arguments were “you know nothing, you were not there”. But they told him that we have 12 months guarantee. That calmed us down. After few months the problem with blockage appears again. I called them about guarantee and now a woman told me that I had to pay for CCTV examination 4 months ago otherwise I have no guarantee (which was not offered or mentioned). So it is my problem. I live in this apartment for 19 months before the first kitchen blocked drain appeared. Now after their £390cost work it appears after 3-4 months. In my opinion it means that the work was not done properly. They do not want to listen to my complaint as they “could not discuss what was 4 months ago” (the words of the person on phone ). THE COMPANY SHOULD BE SUE
