A most unpleasant and discourteous individual. Quick to take money.

Hi Holly, For context, you ordered an item online for 'store pickup' despite living on the Sunshine Coast. We phoned you to clarify and you refused (yes, refused!) to pay for postage so we refunded your order at your request. (So not sure how you justify the "quick to take money"). Judy was not rude or discourteous to you at all. Postage costs us money. We are a small business and we can't wear that cost for a mistake that we didn't make. It's a shame you felt the need to slag us out of spite than admit to your own mistake.

I cannot recommend Poolspot. We had been using them since 2022 for our monthly pool & spa service. On Sat 12Oct24 we had a party, turned the spa on for our kids & guests, after about an hr I checked the water temp to find it freezing & a high limit fault. I called Poolspot on the Mon & was told they had serviced the Spa when they were here on the Wed before (they hadn't). A tech came out to fix it, couldn't on the day & told me he would return to finish the job. It's now 11Dec24 & he hasn't been back. I've emailed them & left voice messages twice & they haven't responded. It's been a very poor experience for us, we've now moved provider & will never use Poolspot again.

Hi Daniel, Firstly, we haven't been back because until now, you hadn't paid your outstanding invoices. The Hi limit error is a safety cut off that occurs when the gas heater is over temperature, usually due to insufficient water flow. It can be caused by a variety of reasons, but usually due to the pump turning off or the actuator changing position prior to the gas heater cooling down. When I visited, I reset the error and found that the AquaLink system was not running in 'spa mode' when the Spa Heater preset was selected. This was likely part of the reason as 'spa mode' should prevent this. This was fixed via remote access the next day. This is not something we would change during a service. We won't make changes to your AquaLink system setup unless there's a problem. There was nothing wrong with the gas heater as it worked fine as soon as the error was cleared. All of this has already been explained to you. During a regular service we don't have any reason to turn the heater on or change your AquaLink settings. Apart from minor errors, we do not service gas heaters as this out of scope. The most likely explanation for the issue is user error or misconfiguration. We're happy to come out and fix minor system errors (without charge by the way) because mistakes happen. Your implication that we didn't do the service because of this error is false and offensive.

Not a user friendly purchase layout. Perhaps continue button should be at bottom of screen and remove client references from purchase page. Also Declined card? Maybe check that option.
