“I ordered 3 books from Postscript, 2 new and 1 'off-mint' condition. The 2 new books were perfect and lovely editions. However, the 'off-mint' book was badly damaged, the bind of the cover was ripped in multiple places, there were marks all over the books and it was in very poor condition, I wouldn't have been able to read the book without it being completely unuseable. I reached out to customer service and provided photos who deemed the book acceptable. They offered me a return which I have now sent the book back. I'm disappointed with the service I received, the book was not 'off-mint', it was in very poor condition. I'm really disappointed with the service and will be unlikely to purchase again from Postscript again.”

Hello Jade, I'm sorry to hear that you were disappointed with the service, we're never happy to hear that a customer's first experience with us is less than perfect. However, I am glad that we were able to arrange a return and refund on your first contact with Gail. At PostScript, we don't like to let any titles go to waste, so we have created a 'Clearance' section on our website. These are imperfect but perfectly readable books, and listing them in our clearance section allows us to apply a further discount. However, we understand that some of our customers are only interested in pristine copies, which is why we advertise the condition of each title before purchasing. “I have used Postscipt a lot in the past. I am now 90 and will only purchase books which I MUST have. My purchase rate will therefore diminish as I near the end of my life but I would still recommend Postscript to anybody who asks me although I do not solicit recommendations.
